The fact that her voice sounds exactly the same live as is it does in the soundtrack... So much respect
Yeah, some singers use auto tune or make there voices sound different but this.... This is beautiful

Here is the thing about Birdy- She is one of the few singers that sound good without autotune or other things. She is amazing. Her lips aren't off sync...some singers have magic like that. They can hold their breath longer.
They are out of sync actually. Not necessarily her fault, I'm pretty sure it's off editing. But you can also notice that you can hear her play a note on the piano and then a second later you actually see her play that note. But the audio and video are out of time, that's quite obvious

Her fingers are out of sync aswell, meaning the video is out of sync. At 1:145 you can hear this is live, she shrugs "touch" if you listen very very carefully. She simply is one if not the best live singer ever.

All I can say is it's a truly wonderful thing that Birdy was born.
Back in the 60's and 70's there were some incredible composers/songwriters/musicians and vocalists. There has been a drought until recently. This artist is the whole package. What a beautiful song/composition, pianist and vocalist! Over the last year, the gift that appeared a few years ago has matured into a phenomenon. What a wonderful time for music!

Wow! One of the best songs that was ever written for a soundtrack. It's hard to believe that she was only 18 when she wrote it. Simply incredible! That song always brings me to tears when I hear it, just so beautiful. Birdy is simply phenomenal, her voice is tremendous, her writing skills are outstanding and she has that little something in her voice that really moves me. Hard to believe she is only in the beginning of her twenties, she will be capable to get on the top in a few years. The best songwriter of her generation. ❤
Wow I love you birdy. There is a maturity and intensity to your voice that just transcends everything. There's something about your eyes and when you look at the camera, it really moves me unlike most when they do this. It's crazy to when you're talking and then you go into song it's like the music possesses your soul and you become even more incredible.
love how she sounds the same live as she does on the recorded track. There is hardly any difference which I think is amazing because so many people out there auto tune their voices to sound great but hers is great with out tune
I just heard this song for the first time yesterday and now I can't stop listening to it...it's so beautiful and I'm planning on singing it for my school talent show!! I can't wait to hopefully wow the crowd like she has wowed me!!!!

To be honest, I believed that Birdy had put auto tune of when she was singing in the beginning of Skinny Love but when I saw the live version I was literally clapping like Yes!

It's SOOOO amazing how almost alike this live performance to the studio recorded one. I would even say she was lip syncing but I could tell she didn't because she held some notes out longer. Love it!
