- Hey guys! Christmas is coming!!! I’m so excited to show you guys my Christmas decor! I love this season for its rich traditions, festivities, and beautiful decoration elements that help bring the Christmas spirit to a home. This year, because we are in a smaller home than last year, I decided to go a little more minimalist...but even with fewer decorations, if placed right, you can still bring out the amazing spirit of the season. I started decorating yesterday. I needed the joy boost after the crazy world we live in now. I use to wait until after thanksgiving.
I love the minimal, natural, Scandinavian look! I need help with keeping it simple because I tend to go over the top but want to tone it down. I get really emotional about Christmas too! Salvation delivered to the world!

I'm getting inspired! I am into forestcore style because I love nature. I already have 2 trees, one w/ white lights, 1 w/ colored, no decorations - yet! I'm going for winter w/Xmas accents. That way I can just remove the holiday decorations after Xmas. I like my cozy cabin in the forest look!

I love your Christmas tree. When my husband and I built our home in 1992 the first thing we moved in was a live Christmas tree! We moved in Dec 15th!! The tree is still in our front yard and now about 18 feet tall!!! You will have a special memory for years to come! Your home is beautiful!

Absolutely loved this! This minimal yet very cosy style is so nice! I did wonder though, you don't use lights on your tree? Also, absolutely loved your mantel as well, but I was just thinking some of those beautiful rustic hanging brass bells would make it even more beautiful, well in my opinion anyways :)
