The thing is, everyone acknowledged Ken was busted early on. Same with JP. No one was saying he wasn't that good lol. A big part of it is most people don't like when grapplers are high tier. They're already inherently "random" playstyles. The majority of it is a giant guessing game.
It's funny how a character that is downplay is still really good and barely got touch whereas Luke who's unanimously top tier got nerfed. Boy you gotta love the FGC for being bigots!
