the fact you think his job is "easy" just goes to show you're in the right place. some people would say that sitting in a meeting without doing jack shit like you do most of the time is "easy". Software Engineer use their heads for their job, thinking requires alot of energy, your job doesnt, therefore you're getting paid less and have to "work" more time

    • @paulngan4750

@@casualBob7 the marketers that sit in meetings and do nothing are the ones that do not last nor grow. Like engineers, product marketers serve a purpose, which is to figure out the best way to explain why a customer needs to buy a product and how it's going to make their lives better, which in turn create demand to drive sales. When I say "easy," I'm referring to ease of schedule, not brainpower required.

@@biggestthreattoyourexistence Typical first worlder. Try talking to someone who has relocated to another country from a third world country. Even if they make good money they never feel at home, specially in the USA. Also, if you think just having work skills is enough to get a job in another country, you're dead wrong and if you think people can relocate to a developed nation without, you're dead wrong about 99% of the population in 3rd world countries. Most of us aren't rich enough. It's truly a privilege to be born in a developed nation

@@erensarnic4058 Easy, it's not only like that because of the people in charge. It is very similar in many third world countries, like those in SouthAmerica. We don't get much of a salary like this guy on the video nor get access to such a good cafeteria, environment, yoghurt, freedom, hours of work, etc. This is what our countries are like, so if you want to change that, either choose a country to work in (Usa, Canada etc) or make your own company. First, let me premise this comment to say, in no way is this an attack on this good kid. Now a few observations. I, personally, find that lifestyle devoid of any feeling or life. Get up, shower, go to shuttle, work in a warehouse, then go home. The worst part were the massive lines of displays and cafeteria tables to work at. The only thing I experienced in this video that had any life to it, was the upbeat music. The only time I saw this kid smile, was at the end of the video. Maybe he was really relieved to be leaving the dungeons at Meta? I sincerely hope that this nice kid experiences a life outside of what we see here. I’m sure he makes a good living here, but one day, anything he’s doing, will be replaced by a robot/software, probably written by AI. To me, working at a place like that, is about as repulsive a thing that I can imagine. Just think of the music was changed to something less upbeat, I probably wouldn’t have got through the entire video.
Again, I mean this as no offense to the author of this video. I’m sure he’s a nice guy.
