Listened to this song a lot, and bro - nice work with the cleaning. I will say though - the Live! atmosphere gives it a certain energy still. Awesome sketch too
Classic un released tune...Always happy when Fela played this in shrine..mostly on a Friday night. Once you heard gba gba from the orisha drum. it was time to light your manya and listen to music of fucking.

The addition of the gbedu drum(8 foot log drum) was a great addition to Fela's music. I don't know if it was done to amplify the rhythmic component of his music jn reaction to the loss of Tony Allen, but i love it
Fela's music made a stylistic shift in the late 80s and early 90s, either with his recorded or unrecorded songs. The addition of the giant conga drums was partly indicative of this. As a matter of fact, he called this music of his "African Classical Music". Tony Allen had long left the band at this time.
@@olakunleajagbe1420 That's true. but on recordings such as authority stealing, ITT, Power show, Look and Laugh, Just Like That, the drummer is clearly playing or attempting to play Tony Allenesque lines. And Just Like that was a late 80s recording, even though it was performed throughout the early 80s. When you have a drummer as gifted as Tony, it must be difficult to adjust to drummers of lesser talent. I mean Fela's early 80s records from Authority Stealing to Army Arrangement and Live in Amsterdam all sound like they're attempting to recapture Tony's lines but with inferior drummers
I don't think it would be much different from the one already on TH-cam. Except you insist, and maybe I can try to tweak the vocals, do noise reduction or something. I don't know man HAHA. I think I'll try B.B.C next
@@calebgrimah2222 I'll try to see how much editing I can do to the only GOC copy on TH-cam. I thought BBC was nerve-racking, GOC sounds terrible. Looking forward to it lol

😂😂😂😂😂 old school oooooh
Thumbs up brother, sounds as good and clean as can be, Asbop and Bbc are the the best of the unreleased gems composed by Fela in my opinion.
I love BBC... heavy message to African leaders
Yeah , great sound production .
