I would always like a video on strengths and weaknesses... Actually, when my best friend told me his weaknesses, I was able to bowl to his weaknesses and my figures that day were : 4 overs; 1 maiden; 11 runs; 4 wickets..
I watched this video few times but only now I realised that the bowler in the video is left handed. I am a left handed bowler too! I need to do the same drills as him! Thank you so much for the wonderful video and drills!
Interesting to see so many repetitions off two, and later, six steps. I think a mistake I've made in the past is insisting on bowling off a full run up all the time to build up endurance and muscle memory. But in hindsight, it means you get tired and sore, don't get to bowl as many deliveries and miss out on the chance to focus in a more pinpointed way on things like release, seam position, rotation, swinging your front arm back etc. Also if you practice off a full run up all the time by yourself, plus go to your club's training you're just going to end up knackered most of the time.
Very true, it's also much more controlled when building it up as the time spent in the crease is slightly increased. This makes working on something specific a lot more beneficial. Thank you for the comment❤️🙌🏻
I feel like I bowl with decent pace, hit good areas and I have good change up deliveries but I just don't know how to identify the batsman's weaknesses. Could you please make a video on technical issues that batters make and how to make a plan to get them out?
Take as many steps as you need to make your run up feel comfortable. It shouldn't be too long because you could waste all your bowling energy running in but it also mustn't be too short because you need to get enough momentum through the crease
