People talking about the crown have to understand that Atheist is not a band you just jump and run around to...its something you listen to. I wouldn't be moshing, I want to enjoy everything they are playing.
@Billthelemur - Actually, I was - 2-33, that's me, with my girlfriend at my side. Atheist were easily the best band at Wacken '06, they were incredible! It was a real experience seeing one of my favourite bands, and I'm in all of the official videos for their set, hahaha.
I honestly don't think ANY of the Wacken videos do their live performance justice. I saw them back in July on their US tour and it was just like listening to the album. Everything, including Kelly's voice.

Er, the vocals are a little annoying now as he sounds like a thrash singer instead of a technical death vocalist... Ehhh.. Guitaring is still damn sick back like it was.

That has nothing to do with anything, I'm not talking about religion, I'm talking about this performance, and I don't care what you say, but most Atheist fans will agree with me that their new lineup, is nothing compared to their former lineup from the 90's which were amazing. This cover was beyond sloppy, it's shit as fuck, apart from the Drummer, who plays the song 100% correctly, considering he is the original drummer. that new guitarist however, can't play this song for shit, do you have ears? can you even fucking hear the damn song?
Nah m8, I'd rather suck Chuck Schuldiner or Dimebag, but unfortunately I don't have the ability to teleport to heaven so I guess I'll have to live with the emotional trauma of not being able to sexually please my idols.

my guitar teacher used to be in the florida thrash scene and was friends with these guys. i thought that was pretty awesome
