It's not "juicy" at all, it's just deliciously meaty. "Wet" chicken is just underdone. "Juicy" is just one of those terms which are mindlessly thrown in sometimes, certainly in this case, where the meat easily BREAKS apart, which is a whole different quality of its own, where juicy can f--k right off if it wants to mess with this...

I was born and raised in New Haven and lived two blocks away from Sandra’s on Congress Avenue for about 18 years. It’s so funny how I’ve never really taken advantage of being so close to that restaurant. Now that I’m back in New Haven this video has definitely convinced me to go back to my old hood for some dinner.
That blackened catfish and fried chicken looked legit. My watermelon cake would’ve been the perfect dessert. 🍉

Ok...I'm definitely feeling Sandra's more...5 all day!! Everything looked juicy, homemade and delicious (that cake homie!) and the portions were appropriate. Sally's made me mad lol... they get a 3 with a shoulder shrug. That shrimp po boy was insulting and embarrassing...The rest of it just looked lukewarm and dry. If I ever get to CT, I'm definitely hittin up Sandra's! I like these comparison reviews!! Keep em comin! ✊🔥
