So basically she's going to be charged with GBH and witness intimidation...... hope what she said was worth it Edit: apologies auto correct and on 5 hours of sleep 😅
That first story had me seething. Imagine almost irreparably crippling someone for life (by getting his hand cut off) and saying it was their fault because you and your kid were being bullies.
Theres an update for 1st story: (will edit if there are more updates) -Guy lost his pinkie and half ring finger. He's not mad at his friend, but with his mother. Friend went with OP to talk with EM's husband. He's mad and agreed to sue her. Days later, EM went to his house, waiting for him. Once he arrived she started screaming at him, OP was just there stoic telling to gtfo. She did, not before spitting a big glob to his face. He finally agreed to take her to court.
@@vivacity1261 i just write the post title on google + reddit or look up for the username. I always want to know if there's an update for a spicy story/help others to see if that happened
Imagine the Karen tried to defend herself in court for nearly cutting someone's hand off. Judge: "What do you plead?" Karen: "OP tried to push my baby, so I pushed him, It's his fault and I plead not guilty." Judge: "Ma'am, you PUSHED SOMEONE INTO A SAW." Karen: "But OP tried to push my baaaaaby!!"
Judge: "Did he try to push him into the saw?" Karen: "No, he just tried to push him, period." Judge: "Right. This court hereby finds you guilty and you're sentenced to life in prison without parole. Court adjourned." Karen: *Shocked Pikachu Face*
Judge: um yeah your going to have to pay his hospital bills, attorney fees, and im placing a restraining on you AND your going to prison for assaulting a minor and attempted manslaughter for 5 years. thats what should happen.
That first story. She could have killed him. She intentionally pushed him into the saw, they’re both lucky he didn’t stumble and lose an arm or go into it head first. This woman needs to see jail time.
Safe stop table saws have been out for two decades, they're so common that recommendations on the safe operation of table saws routinely include the recommendation of their inclusion in a safe workplace. Also he just left a table saw running? This story is bunk.
Story 5: You can tell how irresponsible a parent is by how much they want to leave their kid to a stanger (even for a minute or two). Please, never do this.
When she was asking if op would look after her child op should have said something in lines of: Hmmm... She is in quite good condition, I guess I could get like 50k for her. Sure I can *look after* your child
I’m willing to bet a large amount of money that the mother thought this was somehow okay because OP is, shall we say, not the same *color or class* as her. Urgh...
Gotta respect the Grandma from story 3 for sticking up for her Grandaughter. Also gotta wonder if the Grandma was so nice and supportive what on earth happened for the mother to turn out like that?
This does happen a lot where people do try to raise their kid to be nice and respectful, but it turns out that the kid turned into a monster without the parents knowing. Perhaps they became this way either by the other family members, other adults in their lives like a teacher or babysitter or even by their school friends. Or maybe they became this way on their own.
It could be possible that the grandma is actually OP's paternal grandmother who is (was) generously allowing her mother to live with them. Or it's possible the grandfather was like this.
I like that she's shocked when her mother kicked her out, when the encounter starts with her daughter's stuff bagged up on the doorstep the implication being that she was kicking her daughter, just a deliciously written story.
1st story: If you can afford it, you should always get a saw stop. It’s built to detect when a finger touch’s the blade and immediately stops it. You can find plenty of videos of this break in action
As a shop lover..HE LEFT THE SAW ON AND THEN PICKED A FIGHT!! My only comfort of the comments is..oh they have no clue of the rules of a shop...not a surprise. Once worked in one where I was told Boss was a know it all. I had to teach my coworkers WHY we keep our hair back
Oh my gosh, is machine safety not a thing where the OP lives? In my country everybody who works with big machines in these industries has to do a lot of mandatory courses on machine safety and how to avoid accidents.
Story 3: What then hell is wrong with OP's mom? Sabotaging clothing, trying to marry OP to someone behind her back, looking for a BS excuse to kick OP out. Just, what the peck?
Honestly I'm suspicious of the legitimacy of the post for once. Not many people carry a set of lockpicks around because of some state laws and it's general a little risky, and who's neighbors whom they've likley known for awhile just call the cops even though they're neighbors?
@@TJDious China, Taiwan probably, or somewhere in SEA, or an immigrant from them, seeing as they were speaking Chinese. East Asia in general is still extremely culturally conservative, and this kind of behavior is just a typical conservative mindset at work. Parents own their children, especially girls, and children are expected to show their parents absolute obedience and respect. It's not a (X) country thing, it's just a conservative thing; there was a story on this channel a few weeks back about an American family who were conservative christians who wanted to screw their daughter out of going to university, and instead wanted to force her to go to some camp in the middle of nowhere so she could learn her place.
Last story: he should have taken a hint from prior impromptu babysitters of Reddit. $60 an hour, 4 hour minimum, all paid in advance, and I will be taking the child to Hooters for a meal. That should scare off most parents.
Another thing is how the mother and her son around her age, expect to get marry right off the back without even meeting each other in the first place. If this happened to me that some random mother call my mother telling me that her daughter wants to marry me. I would declined because I don't know your daughter and that's how insane bitches get their male victims. Op isnt a insane bitch I am just saying that is pretty risk on either side what if this dude change is character.
maybe in the west, but in the east, that's mostly typical or basic, which is why many try to fake their love life if they have none, because fixed marriage on the east is far from going extinct or obsolete...
I can totally relate to the horse story. I help my mom train mustangs and you would not believe how many entitled people try to pet them or try to get closer!! Mustangs are the wolves of the horse breed-they are wild, skittish and dangerous!
I work at a lesson/show barn and while I personally haven’t had to deal with many Karens, we’ve had people call about taking our horses on off-property trail rides for free with no supervision. We also had one family who, instead of calling, came in person and interrupted a riding lesson to insist that we give their three kids lessons starting the next day. Then they came back to the barn with apple pieces that were a bit too big for the ponies and when I went to get something to cut them with, the mom told her kids to give the apples out anyway, even knowing the ponies could choke. Another mom insisted on talking about all the mistakes her daughter made during one lesson even though the kid was clearly already close to tears (I felt so bad).
First Story: What was that first story? Imagine being so entitled that u almost kill someone by pushing them into an active table saw. OP’s mom needs to press charges Second Story: Who allows their kid to go pet strange horses? Better yet, who lets their kid go up to strangers and do their own thing alone??? Third Story: This is how u get cut off by ur own daughter. OP’s mom is insane to do some weird and creepy bs like this. Imagine arranging a marriage for ur daughter without tell that daughter. I hope OP leaves and go no contact with her mom. Good on grandma for being on OP’s side Fourth Story: OP’s dad is the worst kind of parent and husband. I can’t stand people who play favorites. Imagine expecting the child abandoned to help pay for someone’s college lmaoo. I would’ve laughed at this man Fifth Story: This mother shouldn’t be a mother. This is extremely irresponsible. Why would you try to leave ur child’s care to a stranger
Police officer 1: Let me get this straight, you left your child with someone you don't know? Karen: Yes, sir, and now they both are gone. I don't know how this could have happened! I asked him to look after mt baaaby for only a minute! Police officer 2: And you went shopping for four hours, right? Karen: They had a SALE! Police officer 1: is this corpse yours?
honestly if that happened to me i'd whip out my phone and call the police and report her for child abandonment. those people don't deserve being called mothers.
I'm kind of shocked r/entitledparents isn't filled with more Asian parents. American parents are typically identified as entitled since Americans have a baseline to know when actions are entitled, but in most Asian countries, the elders are literally considered Gods (part of the reason why I avoid speaking to any of my grandparents) and they can never be wrong with anything they do despite having a mindset from a century ago. So the story with the grandmother that stood up for her granddaughter was even more heartwarming.
Story 4: Since OP’s father is a rather public figure in his country, as he said, he should consider telling all the bad things his father did to the public. The father sounds like a classical narcissist type and a nice, big scandal is a perfect way to get back to such person.
Story 3: out on the streets or getting married to someone she doesn’t know and abandoning her dreams. It sounds like it’s only grandma protecting them, as it is.
*First OP:* What in the Canadian PSA hell!? OP definitely should press charges against the EM. I'm surprised OP's mom didn't go full Mama Bear on EM afterward. Or maybe she did, and OP didn't mention it. *Second OP:* At least the Barn Goblin (LOL at the name) learned her lesson that day. *Third OP:* I'm glad OP's grandmother has OP's back. It's a shame that OP's grandmother has OP's back regarding OP's egg donor. *Fourth OP:* OP's sperm donor: 1. Cheated on and divorced his wife because she had breast cancer; 2. Kicked three of his four children (including OP) out of his house; 3. Expects OP to pay for SD's other children's college education, despite being well off. That's a new level of entitlement. I hope OP's SD dies alone. *Fifth OP:* I didn't even think about the P angle. I hope the little girl grows up with little-to-no trauma due to her mom. Side Note: kindergarten age is 5-6 years.
Story 5: If a random stranger came up to me, told me to watch their child, and started to walk away I wouldn't stop them. And once they're gone I'd take the child to the nearest police station and report that the child has been abandoned.
Yo RSlash we know there isn’t any malicious intent when it comes to picking stories we’re just here for the content, and like listening to your random voice ❤👍
A comedian I saw on TV said there need to be limits on who can breed and people wanting kids should have to take a parental apptitude test. “Mr. and Mrs. Jones, we got your test results back. You don’t qualify for a child, but here’s a turtle.” It was really funny!
Sooo... eugenics (To be clear I agree that people shouldn't be parents if they can't be decent ones, but doing it based on mental health is just ableism, it should be based on actual risk factors. And anyone has the right to pop out a kid imo but not the right to parent that child inherently).
Basically from what I read of the table saw story, the Karen went nucking futs that no one was on her side. She went to the OP's house to spit in his face. Then she kicked out her own teenage son because he was ratting out her mistreatment of him to police. And the EM's own husband was helping the OP get a lawyer against her. So she went off the deep end, got drunk, and then got in a major car crash and died. So yeah.... I guess she just couldn't bare to live in a world where she couldn't lord over anyone.
These mothers who think complete strangers are the most reliable of babysitters are going to one day return to said stranger and find out their kid is gone... and somehow they'll still be shocked about it.
That first story the mother needs to face consequences and jail time. No excuse that was inappropriate and she should be liable for paying for that kids hand.
Unfortunately, she died before her court date. She lost all of her friends, and her husband and son both turned on her. So she got drunk, got behind the wheel, and got into a massive crash. Everyone else got out with minor injuries, she was dead on impact.
Father in the fourth story reminds me of my mother's father. I never met the man, for good reason, but according to her he loved only his one son and told his three daughters that for all he cared they could be shot in the head. My mom wasn't even 10 when he told her that. Fortunately he wasn't in her life long, my grandmother took the kids and fled to another state after that, sending divorce papers shortly after.
Btw, I'm not clear on something. When he sent the receipt for 70k, was that just him saying "here's the money you owe me, pissant. I'm waiting," or did he somehow actually pull that money out of OP's account without permission? Figure the latter has gotta be illegal, but not knowing what country this is and considering that he is a man of means, it's not impossible that he could get away with something like that.
@@metanightmare4454 If I was OP in the 4th Story, I'd take a dump in an envelope and send it back to him. Stick a note on it: "You send me your crap, I'll send you some of mine!"
last story: I would have been all "sure thing ma'am! I'll take care of things, don't worry and take your time" Then proceed to call the cops and CPS as soon as she leaves.
I remember reading that first story and a thing people don't think about is the fact that he has a debilitating injury more than likely. My cousin sawed off two of his fingers years ago on accident, and they were able to reattach them, yet they never functioned like they should of again, in terms of being able to bend them and use them properly. In which judging by what op said about the damage to his hands, his hand is more than likely permanently destroyed given the saw more than likely cut tendons and nerves. As the other thing is saw blades are thick too, so it cut a big and wide gash into his hand, so I can imagine he will never have full functionality out of his hand again. I seriously hope this mother got thrown and jail with the key thrown away, she simply does not need to be walking around if she thinks its okay to be extremely violent for no reason. Along with dropping his "friend" Kaylan who is just a pure unadulterated douche bag honestly, and is more than likely only speaking to OP currently to try and convince him not to report his mom to the police.
There is more to story one, op spoke to Kyla and they put it behind them. Kylan’s dad found out freaked out and got op to press charges and then Kylan’s mum spat on op for the charges pressed. If I recall correctly
Im beginning to think, based on many EP stories, that if an EP who is also a stranger basically throws their kid at me and runs, I won’t fight back too hard, just enough, then call the police. I could be ANYONE. They shouldn’t have kids, and you hear so many times that was just the thing the other, responsible parent, needed for full custody.
The last story... You're probably close with the "PED" word... It would give the parent a perfect excuse to accuse the man who is working of actions like that.
You can't, if you accept to watch the kid then by law you are accepting temporary responsibility for the child. The cops can't do anything with that, even if you are a stranger, unless you lie about accepting the responsibility which the child could call you out on. In which case you would be charged with a false police report.
I had a stranger ask me to watch her two kids while she shopped. Instead of saying no or arguing. I said sure! We went to the registers and I told the cashier the issue. I then said get all the candy and soda you want. And we sat down and ate a ton of candy and mountain dew. Mom was not happy with two sugar charged kiddos just buzzing with energy. I just said don't ask strangers to watch your kids then.
About that last story. My grandmother was the sweetest person ever. One dark winter evening there was a knock at her door and two kids stood there. They were from a local family prominent nationally for their homophobia, picketing funerals and the like. Their father, the pastor of their church, made the kids go door to door selling candy, and they couldn't come home until they were sold out. Grandma let them come in to get warm but wouldn't buy candy. The father was an evil man, letting his kids go into danger like that. For all anyone knew Grandma could have been an axe murderer.
Pediatric doctors are the absolute worst aren't they ;) I'm gonna have to save that one "Oh no you confused me with a Pediatrician. I'm actually a Pharmacist, I can't look after your kid but I can make sure he takes a nice long nap"
Exactly what I was thinking with the last story. I like to try and give most strangers the benefit of the doubt, but if I had kids I would never let strangers watch them. You just never know.
Last Story - My theory is that the negligent, entitled mom was a gold digger, prowling the marina because men whom own boats are likely wealthy (hence why she asked who owned the boat when OP said it wasn't his). I'm sure the original, degenerate thought process would have involved getting a "rich guy" to watch her kid on his boat for 5 minutes while she faked a quick errand. After which, she would return and use her daughter as an excuse to get on the boat, where she would gush "thank yous", flirt, loiter and try to badger him into taking her and her kid on a sailing date. At this point, ridding the vessel's hull of barnacles would likely be easier than prying her and her child off the deck.
Last story makes me wonder what has happened since our childhood.... We were always taught to NOT speak to strangers.... Stranger danger & all that. This mom is just like, "oh a stranger! Here, watch my kid."
Boat story: Oh boy....fun fact: my cousin's ex-husband turned out to be one. He was caught by Australia's version of the FBI. He got a dishonorable discharge from the National Guard and is sitting in jail for, where's the countdown at? 24 years and 2 months? (My family is counting down so we know damn well when to stay OUT of Oklahoma)
I hope first OP's hand is ok. I'm sure he'll have long lasting effects from the damage done to nerves and muscles. My dad stabbed his wrist with an olfa knife once (just under the thumb), and the doctor sutured a nerve into the skin; so everytime something brushes against the scar, it gives him a small shock. I hope OP doesn't go through complications.
Story 1: OP and Kylan made up, OP contacted Kylan's Dad; EM apparently made up a story about what happened, and when OP told Kylan's Dad what happened, he's now pissed at EM. Kylan's Dad is actually helping OP with the police stuff and set him up with an injury attorney. EM showed up to OP's place to demand to talk, OP's mom said he wasn't there (true), OP shows up hours later and EM yells and spits at him, OP calmly told her to Fuck off. OP is taking this to court (per the injury attorney I mentioned earlier), OP's mom is gonna help with paperwork, court date is TBD.
Summaries of stories and content warnings listed: 0:09 - Racist Karen pushes OP into an active table saw (TW: Blood, graphic injury - described, racism, victim-blaming) 2:56 - Barn Karen gets mad at OP and the horse-trainer for not allowing her entitled brat to pet a biting horse, gets kicked out (TW: Blood, injury - not described) 4:45 - OP's entitled mother tries to put OP in an arranged marriage without her consent or foreknowledge, gets mad for being called out for doing this, gets kicked out of the house; ft. cool grandmother (TW: Misogyny) 8:27 - OP's neglectful father kicks his own kids and ex-wife out of his house, now wants OP to pay for his affair baby's college (TW: Cancer mention, homelessness mention, infidelity, misogyny, parental abuse/neglect) 12:11 - Dock Karen tells OP, a complete stranger who is *working* at the time, to babysit her child (TW: Parental neglect?)
I'd call it irresponsible, neglectful, and even dangerous parenting Anyone who'd agree to watch a stranger's kid is not someone who you should trust with your kid
Story One: OP needs to file charges against her. It's assault on a minor with a deadly weapon AND a possible hate crime if she's an established racist like OP mentioned. Story Two: Never ever EVER startle a horse! They're a farm animal, not a normal pet. They can turn extremely violent without warning if you don't know how to handle them. Getting bit is the least of your concerns! These animals can and WILL trample or stomp on you if scare then. They're pure muscle and have been bred for farmwork over many years. Story Three: What's with all these arranged marriage stories lately? I know other countries still do them, but I thought they were becoming less common in the modern age. Furthermore, the mom did this as a surprise? What? How does that even work? Arranged marriages by default typically entail the couple involved to be informed that the parents are planning this. Leaving it as a surprise is a big NO-NO! That's why the grandma is angry about it! She wasn't even told about iyand it's usually the elders who need to give their blessing to the groom, iirc. This is a deep-rooted thing from years ago too. The family's patriarch or matriarch have to approve the engagement, so that's usually the oldest member (the grandma). If they don't, no wedding! X'D Story Four: Under no circumstances is OP obligated to pay for the other kid's college. That's nonsense, especially if the father is well-off! The dad divorced the mom and left her and the kids (except for one brother) for dead basically. This is just such a stupid thing for him to ask for a child who basically had nothing to do with him for years! XD Story 5: Human Trafficking is a VERY SERIOUS problem right now! What is that woman thinking? Leave your kid with a stranger and you are almost guarenteed to never see her again. My concerns are less with the P-word and more with the child getting sold as a *redacted* slave or potentially just killed. Child abductions happen every day! Don't kid yourself into thinking otherwise! Never leave your kids with strangers, even for a minute! That's all it takes to make them disappear...
If I was in the second story I would have cut that conversation short by saying "Do you WANT your child to be kicked in the face by a horse? No? Then DON'T PET THE EASILY SPOOKED HORSES!"
That doesn't always work 🙄 I worked at a stables years ago and I was grooming Teddy who despite his name was a nasty piece of work and unless he knew you he hated you and anyone he didn't know was fair game for revenge. He would act all nice just to put someone into a position where they think oh he's not the bad then he would strike either with hooves or teeth usually both !! This one day a kid came running up to Teddy shouting to his mum I'm going to see this horse I shouted over stop right there come any closer he will have you, his mother told me he must stroke the horse and he will be fine I pointed to his stable door to the sign saying stay away this horse is not friendly he bites and kicks and I told her if he or she comes to him he will attack them and i would get the boss to bring him a nice horse to meet, she told me not to be so over dramatic and told the kid it was ok 🙄 well I taking no risks took Teddy into his stable locked both the top and bottom doors so the kid couldn't even see Teddy, when i say locked i mean i padlocked them shut and put the keys on the very high hook which i had to stand on a stool to reach !! and went to get the boss as I was worried the kid would get hurt but knew with him been only 10 he couldn't open the stable doors, his mother was short like me so she couldn't reach the keys without doing what I did and I assumed that she would not be that stupid. I wanted my boss to tell them the dangers of Teddy and get one he could say hi to. When I was in the office I explained what was going on and asked she explain why the kid should stay well away from Teddy and if she could get another for him to meet maybe Bob, then we heard it, the screams 😳 we both ran out to find Teddy out of the stable dragging the kid in his teeth and kicking with him with his front hooves and the mother trying to rescue the kid but Teddy striking out with his back hooves, as I said Teddy was nasty , my boss managed to catch Teddy calm him down and rescue the kid. The mum screaming how could we let her boy be hurt that way. I asked how on earth can a horse get out of a locked stable on its own she admitted the kid was having a tantrum wanting to see the horse so she opened it and the horse attacked, I told her what did you expect would happen I told you what would happen showed you the warnings on his door yet you decided to put your child in danger, she tried to blame us saying the horse should be locked up if he was that bad i pointed out he was locked up but she let him out, and she had plenty of time to think about what she was doing and what id told her while climbing on a stool to get the key and I was sure she had seen the 2 signs on his doors saying do not open unless you are one of the four people listed, because this horse will attack bite and kick !!, she called the police when they arrived she told them i set the horse onto them but they saw the cctv which showed her letting Teddy out and basically told her she was to blame after all she was warned by me and the two signs. While all that was going on I was trying to make sure the kid was ok he was badly shaken by both Teddy and his nerves, he had nasty bites on his shoulder and arm, bruised legs and back, a broken arm and fractured ribs, we found out the full list of injuries after the ambulance i called arrived as his mother was too busy to care for her son and found screaming at the police more important 😕 the police asked my boss if she wanted to press charges, she said no as she hoped she learnt her lesson and the kud also learnt his lesson that no is said for a reason and would listen in future and didn't want to give the boy more punishment than Teddy had already given him. Teddy although a beautiful boy with the mist gorgeous chocolate coloured coat, he had trauma in his past and you could see all the scaring on him where his last owner put out cigarettes on him, made homemade brands and hot iron branded him over and over and cut him up with knives, that poor boy had gone through hell for the first 4 years of his life until my bosses dad rescued him when she was a child, and it took years for him to trust the few people he did trust, to this day I have no idea why he trusted me but he came right up to me one day and let me stroke him, her dad was shocked saying Teddy would only do that to 6 people and he was then 25 and in the 21 years he'd had him he'd only done that once and that was to him on the day he rescued him, others had to work hard for his trust and that could take months even years, and noone but him could ride him !! Sadly Teddy died 6 months later he had cancer and had to be put to sleep as it had spread fast throught his body, her dad was heartbroken but he stood by Teddy right to the end taking him for his last walk, he gave him a bath and a good brush down saying his boy would be presentable for his last trip and there was no way he was going alone. It was heartbreaking watching him prepare Teddy he washed and dried him, brushed him till his coat shined he even braided his tail and main gotta say he looked amazing as they both walked with the vet to the back and it was only after we heard the shot and thud did he cry, and he was sobbing showing the emotions he refused to show in front of Teddy, i had a lot of respect for that man and what he did for Teddy nany would have given up and shot him years ago knowing how he was but he never gave up on him and they had the most amazing bond something ive never seen since with any animal and owner 😢 he got him cremated and his ashes were locked in his stable he refused to let any horse use it while he was alive, he would go and sit in that stable every day and talk to Teddy as he did when he was alive and a year later Teddy joined his owner in his coffin and they were burried together as were his wishes when he too found out he had cancer Yes the kud did learn his lesson and became quite the horse man doing competition riding and jumping. His mother was banned but his dad did bring him and he did start working there when he was older Sorry this was so long it's been over 30 years since I've spoken of Teddy and his amazing owner
Should have gotten SawStop to sponsor this episode. Its an incredible device that, upon sensing any kind of flesh (usually they use a hot dog for demonstrations), grabs the table saws blade with a pair of brake pads and yanks it under the table to prevent... well, that kind of injury. Of course, it destroys the blade in the process but a saw blade vs. your hand (or worse)? I know what I prefer.
*reads title then hears first story* 😱 oh sugar honey iced tea!!!! The poor OP! That's one hell of a horror story! OP and his mom better press charges. Ky, even though he was a bit of an AH at least apologized for that.
Update on story one: OP posted a final update stating that there was a court date scheduled but it never came. Some people in her live heard about what she did from word being spread and she lost a lot of friends. EM was drinking and driving and had a massive car crash and she died. OP is still friends with the son and they’re even closer now.
OP in the first story better press charges and that mom better get some prison time. That is really some unhinged shit and she has no business walking freely in public.
Well, she's not anymore. She got drunk, got behind the wheel of her car, and died in a massive crash. She was the only person who had any serious injuries.
If someone would come up to me and said to me if I could watch their child I would just speak in the most creepiest voice while liking my lips and say "yeah sure give me that sweet child"
Update on the first story. To make it short the EM got into a drunk driving accident (she was the cause) and died in it. Alot more has hapoened but this was the ending
An update from 1st op's situation From u/BGHFFU in reddit: My friends mom pushed me into a tablesaw (UPDATE) So since my first post (thank you all for the kind words and advice) a lot has went down. First, Kylan and I have made up. It wasn’t his fault for what his mom did and I get that. Secondly, after telling EMs husband about what actually has been going on and him getting pissed at EM, he’s taken me into the station to get things sorted out and asking how I want to move forward I haven’t really decided what I’d like to do at the moment but I’m leaning towards just money for compensation or something. EM two days ago has also showed up at my house demanding for me but I wasn’t there at the time. But when I did get back home, I saw EM standing there waiting for me (my mom said she stayed there the whole time waiting for me) and I went up to ask her what’s going on and why she’s here. Aaaand in response, I got a huge glob spat in my face and a whole bunch of yelling Honestly, it took me a lot of restraint to not yell at her back, but I just calmly told her to get the fuck away from my mom and my house. Eventually she did UPDATE (again) Finally after tons of comments, I’m going to take this to court. EMs husband has given me a good injury attorney that I can talk to and my mom needs to help me fill the documents out once I get there. Idk when the court date is tho (you need to read the comments under his post after reading this)
First story. One of the most important important and first things you learn is TURN OFF POWER TOOLS WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING THEM. She shouldn't have pushed him, but if it was off, he'd have got away with a scrape or two. That doesn't excuse her appalling behavior
Exactly, they can kick a person’s head clean off. And I’ve seen a video of a mother mare killing a stallion with a single kick to his face for trying to mate with her.
@@BersealiaDreamheart I can't imagine what that kick would do to a child the age of the one in the story if it could kill a presumably healthy stallion.
Why are there so many stories resulting entitled parents letting their kids getting hurt by horses?? Like dude, they could cave your skull in, they are NOT house pets
Great episode, though it was probably a smart idea to do the disclaimer, just in case. Most of us long time viewers understand, but it should help put the new viewers at ease 🤣
I’ve actually been asked once to watch someone’s baby, who was sleeping, for a moment. I was okay with it, because we were in front of a supermarket bathroom(which is why she was asking) and I was stuck there waiting for someone to come out. It only took about five minutes, but I felt very nervous after a bit. Can’t imagine trying to watch anyone’s kid near/on a boat, way too much could go wrong.
There is something incredibly funny and charming about Dabne not knowing how old a kindergartner is, lol (for my non American friends, it's the first year of required school, so about 5-6 years old)
I'm guessing, their logic is in the last story is 'They don't care about the child to start with' so if their lifted by a P word, they don't care to start with, they don't care after the fact, it's just another means to gain money and attention becuase that P word stole my baby! have pitty on me!
1st story had an update. He's pressing charges. The friend actually apologized and the mom went to OP'S house to intimidate OP.
Oh no that friend's mum is going to pile up charges, assault of a minor was a big inevitable one but witness intimidation too?
I hope he cleans her out in court!
So basically she's going to be charged with GBH and witness intimidation...... hope what she said was worth it
Edit: apologies auto correct and on 5 hours of sleep 😅
Intimate? That’s better than intimidation for sure.
It would've been really weird if he DIDN'T press charges
That first story had me seething. Imagine almost irreparably crippling someone for life (by getting his hand cut off) and saying it was their fault because you and your kid were being bullies.
If the op were me, I would have immediately pressed charges or sued the entitled mother for the medical fees.

Theres an update for 1st story: (will edit if there are more updates)
-Guy lost his pinkie and half ring finger.
Kid and husband turned on her and she still thought she was in the right. True entitled mom right there

You missed that she literally spit in his face
Imagine the Karen tried to defend herself in court for nearly cutting someone's hand off.
Judge: "What do you plead?"
Karen: "OP tried to push my baby, so I pushed him, It's his fault and I plead not guilty."
Judge: "Ma'am, you PUSHED SOMEONE INTO A SAW."
Karen: "But OP tried to push my baaaaaby!!"
I’d honestly expect her to call him the N-word if they both have a history of racial issues
LOL, I literally read the Karen part in RSlash's Karen voice
Judge: "Did he try to push him into the saw?"
Karen: "No, he just tried to push him, period."
Judge: "Right. This court hereby finds you guilty and you're sentenced to life in prison without parole. Court adjourned."
Karen: *Shocked Pikachu Face*
Judge: um yeah your going to have to pay his hospital bills, attorney fees, and im placing a restraining on you AND your going to prison for assaulting a minor and attempted manslaughter for 5 years. thats what should happen.

That first story. She could have killed him. She intentionally pushed him into the saw, they’re both lucky he didn’t stumble and lose an arm or go into it head first. This woman needs to see jail time.

Story 5: You can tell how irresponsible a parent is by how much they want to leave their kid to a stanger (even for a minute or two). Please, never do this.
I'd have let her walk off, then call the cops to report an abandoned child. Let the chips fall..... 🙄
When she was asking if op would look after her child op should have said something in lines of: Hmmm... She is in quite good condition, I guess I could get like 50k for her. Sure I can *look after* your child

@@spydersoup8447 Very true people change but I just want to know what in earth happened for thay mother to be like that
It could be possible that the grandma is actually OP's paternal grandmother who is (was) generously allowing her mother to live with them. Or it's possible the grandfather was like this.
I like that she's shocked when her mother kicked her out, when the encounter starts with her daughter's stuff bagged up on the doorstep the implication being that she was kicking her daughter, just a deliciously written story.
1st story:

Story 3: What then hell is wrong with OP's mom? Sabotaging clothing, trying to marry OP to someone behind her back, looking for a BS excuse to kick OP out. Just, what the peck?
Definitely strikes me as the mom never wanted her child in the first place, acting like her kids mere existence was a terrible thing.
Wondering what crap country this was.

It's not a (X) country thing, it's just a conservative thing; there was a story on this channel a few weeks back about an American family who were conservative christians who wanted to screw their daughter out of going to university, and instead wanted to force her to go to some camp in the middle of nowhere so she could learn her place.

OP’s mom needs to press charges
Second Story: Who allows their kid to go pet strange horses? Better yet, who lets their kid go up to strangers and do their own thing alone???
Third Story: This is how u get cut off by ur own daughter. OP’s mom is insane to do some weird and creepy bs like this. Imagine arranging a marriage for ur daughter without tell that daughter. I hope OP leaves and go no contact with her mom. Good on grandma for being on OP’s side
Fourth Story: OP’s dad is the worst kind of parent and husband. I can’t stand people who play favorites. Imagine expecting the child abandoned to help pay for someone’s college lmaoo. I would’ve laughed at this man
Fifth Story: This mother shouldn’t be a mother. This is extremely irresponsible. Why would you try to leave ur child’s care to a stranger
If the first story is true, it's attempted murder.
I'd be inclined to go back and not attempt it.

honestly if that happened to me i'd whip out my phone and call the police and report her for child abandonment. those people don't deserve being called mothers.
That's almost downright psychopathic behaviour in the first story... I mean she pushed him into a SAW BLADE and said "this is your fault"
Last story: Uh, sure. Leave your kid with a stranger who is in a vehicle and can take off with your kid as soon as you leave. Great idea!
I wouldn't leave my DOG with a stranger (and he's more then capable of defending himself...), I can't imagine what all these parents are thinking.
The kid in the horse story being called a goblin is an insult to goblinoids.
*Fourth OP:* OP's sperm donor:
1. Cheated on and divorced his wife because she had breast cancer;
2. Kicked three of his four children (including OP) out of his house;
It is definitely like one of the Canadian PSAs from the 90s. I'm going to go watch the house hippo commercial now.
Story 5: If a random stranger came up to me, told me to watch their child, and started to walk away I wouldn't stop them. And once they're gone I'd take the child to the nearest police station and report that the child has been abandoned.
Hell yeah!! Me too!!

There should be an application process for having kids. A test for common sense and mental health would be included
It seems like a good idea on the surface but leaving it up to the state to determine who can have kids is just a worse idea.
A comedian I saw on TV said there need to be limits on who can breed and people wanting kids should have to take a parental apptitude test. “Mr. and Mrs. Jones, we got your test results back. You don’t qualify for a child, but here’s a turtle.” It was really funny!
Sooo... eugenics
(To be clear I agree that people shouldn't be parents if they can't be decent ones, but doing it based on mental health is just ableism, it should be based on actual risk factors.
First story should have been in r/insaneparents because that's who she was
These mothers who think complete strangers are the most reliable of babysitters are going to one day return to said stranger and find out their kid is gone... and somehow they'll still be shocked about it.
Entitled parents: *leaves child with a stranger*
Stranger: *abducts child*
Entitled parent: *shocked pikachu face*
Or if their kid gets found inside the oven after being mistaken for a turkey because the babysitter got high.
And after they are like « but it’s your fault for that » euh no it’s YOUR kid so take care of it you genius
The first story has an update where the EM went to OPs house scared his mom, spit in his face and then yelled at him, so now he’s pressing charges.
That last story sounds like the setup for a lawsuit. "Here, watch my kid"..."Officer, some stranger is watching my kid!"
Last story: I love how op was screaming in the post "I'M A STRANGER!!!!"
@@metanightmare4454 I assume it's the former and "you owe me".

OP from the first story should not only press charges, but also file a lawsuit and apply for a restraining order
First story : Yup, LAWSUIT. She willfully pushed you on an active saw, she should go to jail. Her son is old enough to not need mommy to defend him.
There is more to story one, op spoke to Kyla and they put it behind them. Kylan’s dad found out freaked out and got op to press charges and then Kylan’s mum spat on op for the charges pressed. If I recall correctly
Oh good another assault charge.
As a horse person, I have seen several barn karens over the years. I am surprised the barn karen in that story didn't sue the trainer.
Yeah and it’s disgusting these entitled parents are parasites for the society
Should always take on the kid and call the police immediately. It’ll be better for the kid in the long run to get away from those types of parents.
That's terrible. I hope those children got away from their father and found someone who actually took care of them.
have you seen "despicable me"?
Pediatric doctors are the absolute worst aren't they ;)
I'm gonna have to save that one "Oh no you confused me with a Pediatrician.
That first story bordered on attempted murder O.o A chopped off hand is a fatal wound if not treated.
Holy moly that’s scary
not really, maybe attempted homicide.murder is when it is planned to kill, homicide is when it was accidental...

Last story: I really hope that girl get taken away from this woman, no kid should live with someone this... I don't know what you call this.
I'd call it irresponsible, neglectful, and even dangerous parenting
Anyone who'd agree to watch a stranger's kid is not someone who you should trust with your kid
Story Four: Under no circumstances is OP obligated to pay for the other kid's college. That's nonsense, especially if the father is well-off! The dad divorced the mom and left her and the kids (except for one brother) for dead basically. This is just such a stupid thing for him to ask for a child who basically had nothing to do with him for years! XD
Story 5: Human Trafficking is a VERY SERIOUS problem right now!
It was heartbreaking watching him prepare Teddy he washed and dried him, brushed him till his coat shined he even braided his tail and main gotta say he looked amazing as they both walked with the vet to the back and it was only after we heard the shot and thud did he cry, and he was sobbing showing the emotions he refused to show in front of Teddy, i had a lot of respect for that man and what he did for Teddy nany would have given up and shot him years ago knowing how he was but he never gave up on him and they had the most amazing bond something ive never seen since with any animal and owner 😢 he got him cremated and his ashes were locked in his stable he refused to let any horse use it while he was alive, he would go and sit in that stable every day and talk to Teddy as he did when he was alive and a year later Teddy joined his owner in his coffin and they were burried together as were his wishes when he too found out he had cancer
Yes the kud did learn his lesson and became quite the horse man doing competition riding and jumping. His mother was banned but his dad did bring him and he did start working there when he was older
Sorry this was so long it's been over 30 years since I've spoken of Teddy and his amazing owner
There's no way Karen in story1 doesn't go to jail for that
She didn't. She got drunk and died in a car crash before her court date.
that first story has me pissed i had a buddy that lost 2 fingers almost that exact same way
*reads title then hears first story* 😱 oh sugar honey iced tea!!!! The poor OP! That's one hell of a horror story! OP and his mom better press charges. Ky, even though he was a bit of an AH at least apologized for that.
Update on story one:
OP posted a final update stating that there was a court date scheduled but it never came.
Is Judge Judy still on? That 1st story would be an awesome episode. I just imagine Judge Judy tearing into the pushy mom and it already feels great.
If someone would come up to me and said to me if I could watch their child I would just speak in the most creepiest voice while liking my lips and say "yeah sure give me that sweet child"
POV: you’re listening to r/entitled parents while playing your favorite game
“Finally, inner peace”
Audience has to hand it to you: "hands-on" story was nearly "hand-off" (very grim). Let's all give OP a big hand. Cheers!
So, uh, story one, OP was trying to sue EM, and she kicked her kid out, got really into drinking, and died in a highway car accident
Wtf the first story??? That woman should be doing life
Update on the first story. To make it short the EM got into a drunk driving accident (she was the cause) and died in it. Alot more has hapoened but this was the ending
First Story: Really? On-hand activity? That's next level cruel xD
Ok to describe my anger for the first story imagine the meme of Peter Griffin going "I just wanna talk to him" holding his shotgun
Fourth story, too. I just want to talk to them!
Your videos always make my afternoon more comfortable :). Love listening to it
9:24 mm no you’re not….not really …what? No one thought that! Don’t discriminate
An update from 1st op's situation
From u/BGHFFU in reddit:
My friends mom pushed me into a tablesaw (UPDATE)
So since my first post (thank you all for the kind words and advice) a lot has went down.
First, Kylan and I have made up. It wasn’t his fault for what his mom did and I get that. Secondly, after telling EMs husband about what actually has been going on and him getting pissed at EM, he’s taken me into the station to get things sorted out and asking how I want to move forward
I haven’t really decided what I’d like to do at the moment but I’m leaning towards just money for compensation or something.
EM two days ago has also showed up at my house demanding for me but I wasn’t there at the time. But when I did get back home, I saw EM standing there waiting for me (my mom said she stayed there the whole time waiting for me) and I went up to ask her what’s going on and why she’s here. Aaaand in response, I got a huge glob spat in my face and a whole bunch of yelling
Honestly, it took me a lot of restraint to not yell at her back, but I just calmly told her to get the fuck away from my mom and my house. Eventually she did
UPDATE (again)
Finally after tons of comments, I’m going to take this to court. EMs husband has given me a good injury attorney that I can talk to and my mom needs to help me fill the documents out once I get there. Idk when the court date is tho
(you need to read the comments under his post after reading this)
Yes let’s go op bring hell thunder and rain on that em
First story. One of the most important important and first things you learn is TURN OFF POWER TOOLS WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING THEM. She shouldn't have pushed him, but if it was off, he'd have got away with a scrape or two. That doesn't excuse her appalling behavior
ive been watching almost 4 years now and i have to thank you for keeping up the great content all these years
Story 5: So that's why a lot of kids dissapear...
Titled should have been Karen sawed my hand in half! Now that's a lot pf damage!
or maybe,"this is not a scam or me no longer wanting to be a parent, but please watch my kid in your boat, while i do stuff on far far away land"...
2:52 in the words of Joey Tribbiani: "OVER THE LINE?! She was so far past the line that she can't even see the line! The line is a dot to her!"
Second story: it pisses me off that people could be so careless around horses, which, by the way, can KILL you! EASILY!!
Your videos are always a perfect way to start the day, thank you for what you do! ❤️
"Hey stranger can you watch my young kid on your speedboat?" If it was the wrong person she would've basically signed the kids life away
Story 1 I'm pretty sure that's assault with a deadly weapon so hopefully Karen goes to jail
What kind of insane parent just give their kid to a complete stranger like that.
There is something incredibly funny and charming about Dabne not knowing how old a kindergartner is, lol (for my non American friends, it's the first year of required school, so about 5-6 years old)
I was on your podcast and as soon as you finished saying "Karen pushed me into an active table saw" I got a home depot commercial 😀 😄
the stories: evil asian parents
Rslash’s wife (who’s east asian): ???
I'm guessing, their logic is in the last story is 'They don't care about the child to start with' so if their lifted by a P word, they don't care to start with, they don't care after the fact, it's just another means to gain money and attention becuase that P word stole my baby! have pitty on me!
