Super Robot Taisen Z2 Hakai Hen - Shin Getter Robo Vs Shin Dragon (Getter Robo Armageddon)

- Dr Saotome has gone crazy after the death of his daughter Michiru. When beastmen attack the Saotome institute, they have an army of Getter Robo Gs waiting for them. When our team arrives, it only makes it an all out 3 way but when Ryoma gets serious and "Ima ga Sono Toki da" starts playing, you know badass stuff is gonna happen.
When invaders start appearing, the getter team, using 3 seperate getter robos, combine all their energy to fire one powerful getter beam. This event is a reference to the same event in one of the Moon Wars manga.
However, Gol/Brai appear and destroy all 3 getters. Unfortunately for that monstrosity, Gurren Lagann manages to gain wings by merging with one of the Wing Gunman and we all know that when a Super Robot gains wings, his enemies are screwed.
After a while, the various Getter Robo Gs combine to form the imperfect but mighty Shin Dragon. Luckily for us, Shin Getter is in the laboratory waiting for our badass getter team to pilot it. You gotta love all the Getter Robo x Gurren Lagann x Mazinger references in this game.
After Shin Dragon's defeat, Saotome is seen near a capsule with a unconscious Go until Gaioh appears. I wonder when Go will wake up....?

@ChReNiC You seemed to forget that he's not actually insane in the original manga. In the manga, he took on everyone at a karate tournament including a karate master and win, took on assassins, punches and rips dinosaurs with his bare hands and breaks a sword which was used to stab him by flexing his pecs. And in Shin Getter Robo vs Neo Getter Robo, he beat up a squad of dinosaurs with guns and survived a very long drop and landed on his bare feet without even flinching. He's not crazy.

Hell, Getter Energy is near-synonymous with Spiral Power in Z2...
Getter and Mazinger are so powerful the PSP's base hardware can't hadle them and the framerate tanks.

Chouginga GL's first battle in Z3 has it powered by Getter Rays. So yeah you're right.

If you see the boss battle against Lordgenome, you'll notice 180223 sent Shin Getter Robo against him. Old Genome will comment on the Getter Team not needing Spiral Power because they already have the Getter Rays.
