Hi and thanks for the tutorial, but even though I’m following the video part by part I’m still having trouble after setting the stills at 3 seconds, then dragging my images, it will not change from 10 second to 3 second playback? Therefore I’m having to manually adjust each image to 3.8 seconds, any suggestions would be appreciated.
I hope you see this! I made a slideshow based on this great video! Now when I try to add it to an existing storyline, Final cut won't let me. How do I add my new slideshow? I want it to be my opening segment to the video. Thanks!

Hi there. When I choose the “fill “ option it well sometimes cut out part of the picture that I want in the frame, so how do I manipulate the picture while keeping the same aspect ratio, and still keeping the black bars from showing on the sides?
I'm sorry to hear about your mother. My mom died in 2021 and I made a couple slideshows for her funeral. I hope making your slideshow helps you heal a little bit. Yes, you can add music. Just drag and drop it into your timeline.
Are you trying to make the Stylized Transition? If yes, you have to drag the numbered pins(1 to 5) to your clip so that it can be displayed on the slideshow. Tell me how it goes.

Select your images in the timeline, press Control D, enter 3 0 0 and press Enter.

strange. Try restarting FCP and make sure you'r not selecting 10 seconds worth of your image in the browser

Try None option and then use the scale sliders to adjust size.

3:35 Edit images without "Fill" mode, so the images will not be cropped. Use "Customize" before editing.🍄
