    Thanks Mr. Angel , I bought a used ME-70 used for $150 and I'm still tryn to figure how to use it and every one that shows me how to use it, they don't explain it all the way and they do it real fast. Thanks for explaining it slow and saying why your pushing or turning each button or nob. You helped me out so much by watching your video right here. I'm going to look for more of your vids on utube . Thanks again and wish you a great day !!! Ken Munson

    You're Welcome, hope you enjoy the pedal.

    @Noodles37UK To do that just go on the preset and change the setting on which ever corresponding pedals it is using to however you like, after that hit the "write" button and save it to a user patch.

    press the left and right arrows by "Write" or use stomp one and two then change patch menus with 3 or 4.

    Thanks. The unit is right here in front of me between myself and my PC monitor haha. That bit of information you gave me is what I needed. When you look at the manual you'll see some effects in capital letters, but some weren't there. I don't think they used their imaginations too much when setting up the Presets. A lot sound similiar. Cheers.

    I'll put a video up as soon as I can to help you out, no worries.

    Yah the reverb will save too, but just like the preamp you can change it at anytime you want.

  • @MrAngeeeeeeel

    when in memory mode just stomp pedals 1 and 2 together and choose a bank using either pedal 1 or 2, use pedal 3 or 4 to select the bank and bam! use any of the four patches in that designated bank.

    Finally some one talking sense ! not just playing the guitar, my question is how do you setup a CLEAN sound? I have a tec21 amp MSG guitar and love to use the harmonizer and delay, but want to save these sounds and use the Number 1 pedal to recall them as I use the distortion on my amp.

  • @MrAngeeeeeeel
    @MrAngeeeeeeel  12 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    You cant necessarily delete a patch but you can over write it, just do the same steps in this video but save the new patch over the old one, to factory reset hold pedal 3&4 to go to manual mode, hold [edit/exit] and press pedal 3 at the same time, an "F" should appear on the screen, after that press write and the the tuning guides flash, press write again and you have completed the Factory Reset. If you need a video let me know and i'll make one.

    Thanks for the quick response,so if i saved a patch in U1 for example, like a clean sound i can use the looper on that patch, but i cant use another patch over it like a lead solo.or the looper turns off..

  • @MrAngeeeeeeel
    @MrAngeeeeeeel  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sadly the only time you can use the looper other than manual mode is when you're using the direct patch that it is saved on, so to answer your question, no you cant use the looper for a full bank, only on a certain patch and manual mode.

  • @MrAngeeeeeeel
    @MrAngeeeeeeel  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    @hendrixpage2 im not sure but I think you just answered your own question, save a clean patch using the built im amp and on another patch.save the fx but turn off the built in amp.

    Any multi effects pedal has a break, but to tell you the truth the Me70 really took it to another level, there is no break (From my experience) the only downside is that you have to be ready on your volume control, some of your effects may be saved louder than others that's why it's best to save your banks by the dynamics of the songs you want to play. I highly recommend this pedal if you're looking to upgrade

  • @spiderdave6
    @spiderdave6 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I was hoping you could answer a question for me, If i create my own patches and save them to the user banks, can i use the saved patches with the looper, and lay them on top of each other or can i only use the looper in manual mood. Thanks

  • @MrAngeeeeeeel
    @MrAngeeeeeeel  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    To do that just go on the preset and change the setting on which ever corresponding pedals it is using to however you like, after that hit the "write" button and save it to a user patch

  • @MrAngeeeeeeel
    @MrAngeeeeeeel  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Correct. One way to give a distorted sound on a clean patch without effecting the original noise when switching is just to choose a distorted PREAMP like Lead Stack it will go to distortion but you can switch it back to clean when you loop it, or you can save the looper with a distortion effect and clean effect and when you want to use the clean turn the distortion knobs down. or The way I do it just use a separate distortion pedal so you can use distortion on any clean patch.

    MrAngeeeeeeel - Ive used a ME-50 before and I loved it, but the only thing was there was a split-second break in the sound when changing between saved patches in the memory mode. Does the ME-70 also have this break in sound?

    THANKS.
    Can I bring up a patch from Preset and REPLACE its Modulation, for example, if I bring up one with Chorus, but change Chorus for Rotary or Tremolo?
    Not all the 10 Modulations ( Chorus to modulation Delay ) are represented in preset.

    Hey angel thanks for the vid, I was just wondering how you set the boss me 70 to manual mode?

  • @royluckadoo6705
    @royluckadoo6705 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    So, I have an interesting question? I just got this same unit obviously several years after production, but I like its simplicity factor. However, I'm confused about something. Even though I save my sounds, effects ect.. for example, in U1 1 thru 4, and it's all saved how I set it, I noticed that IF I accidently turn one of my effects knobs for instance, lets say I moved the knob from Chorus to Flanger on the Modulation stomp area, then it still changed the effect from what i had it saved as. Is that Normal??? I thought once you saved the effect adjustments that it would remain unless you went in to re edit it? Plz help. Thanks & God bless

    Hey Mr. Angel pretty cool video but
    1. How do i get into manual mode?
    2. What is the P1???
    Pretty helpful but i just need some clarification

    • @MrAngeeeeeeel
      @MrAngeeeeeeel  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey there! It’s been a while since I’ve had this pedal but hopefully my memory serves me well.
      1) to get into manual mode hit pedal 3 and 4 at the same time. That is also how you move back into the “bank” or “memory” mode.
      2) to change between banks hit pedal 1 and 2 at the same time then cycle with pedal 1 or 2.
      3) P1-P9 are just preset banks with 4 patches each, I’m not sure the exact FX on these but I’m sure there should be a manual that has them on the internet. Also, These are not able to be over written. You can only write new patches into U1-U9.

    How do I move between preprogrammed @ my own stuff & how do u use the bank up/down between the two?

    • @MrAngeeeeeeel
      @MrAngeeeeeeel  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      If I understood you my answer is hit pedals 1 and 2 at the same time then scroll through your banks or the preset banks using 1 or 2 then select the bank by pressing down 3 or 4. You can then choose your patch. That's the fastest way to scroll through them unless you buy a separate ABY pedal. I recommended setting four patches that you will use in a series of songs on the same bank it will save you the trouble of having to adjust to a different bank.

      Super late and I'm sorry, just adjust your preamp settings and distortion, I recommend you go with a heavier but shuttle OD.

    EZ Tone just gives you a pre set tone set to fit any fx together, I don't recommend it.

    I have this fucking pedal, and everytime i get a sick heavy sound, and chance channel it goes out to shit sound when i take it back to the second channel where i got the good sound in... why!!``\!

    • @MrAngeeeeeeel
      @MrAngeeeeeeel  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you writing the patch in correctly? Or changing the preamp? Either one can effect why It won't play the sound again. Just make sure to save it before switching channels, modes, banks or patches. If you do it correctly it should save that sound no problem.
