-Tilly is an aged Appendix mare. She has shown her entire life on the AQHA circuit and north america for western pleasure, trail and Eq u/s, has shown successfully at Congress in Western pleasure 3 times.
-Once she was too old to show AQHA she was dumped to a dealer and used for lessons at CNE - Toronto, and than private camps 6 months back to back for the past few years, solid, safe, 100 and 10% knows her job.
-Tilly is sound, no vices, just had teeth done, no shoes needed, no spook, bolt, buck. Tilly does require blanket(s) and a gentle herd paddock as she gets picked on easily, requires a pelleted feed and good quality hay, this mare is best to live in during bad weather or as required.
-Tilly is looking for a beginner or rusty stirrup rider that is a lighter rider, an easy going pleasure rider that wants to just enjoy the ride as opposed to push her too far. She W/J/Ls like a dream and hacks out in a group or alone. She is the type of horse you can build loads of confidence on... super safe under saddle! She is one of the sweetest horses we have ever had the pleasure of working with and getting to know. Truly a saint.
Sadly Tilly was dumped at auction after all her years at work and was slaughter bound... This is a rescue horse... NO dealers, big lesson barns etc... welcome and references will be required and an agreement that she is not to be re.sold and comes back to us to ensure her quality of life. This horse has worked her butt off and deserves a life of quality and love.
