    When church focuses on bringing people to church instead of Christ, it's no longer a church.

    I've given up thinking of the local church as "the church". If you're saved you're the church, that's it. My church is my family and my Christian social media contacts who are saved, and yes there are one or two people in my local church that I relate to, but most of them are there for appearances, or because they feel they have to be or whatever. The pastor teaches whatever comes into his head at the time, and yes he focuses on the gospel (at least the gospel as he understands it) which is the crucial thing, but he gets a lot of other stuff wrong. It all feels very contrived and artificial. Makes me think of a song by Steve Taylor from back in the day. "I want to be a clone". That's pretty much how these churches are run. If you don't conform, you're either on the fringe or out altogether. Which is fine by me. I do my own thing.

      Clearly, I don't conform. "Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. "

    When the first 30-40 minutes is all music, that's a bad sign.

      I don't have experience outside the modern Laodicean churches except for a protestant service in Marine Corps basic training so I'm not really sure the format found in other churches.

    I question why is the church of Philadelphia mentioned with these churches that have even fell into bail worship.
    There's only one common denominator to all seven churches, Jesus says I know your works, is it not safe to say that your works can lead to being Luke warm thinking you've earned your way to heaven. Rosanne Barr has a podcast and this guy was on that supposedly wrote the matrix and he was outing a famous televangelist as a sodimite. You think if that's true that his works led him to that. Like the stages of depravity from church to church.

      Right now I'm in the background. Notice he hasn't been on Steve's livestreams these past few weeks and Steve deleted the video he did on me. Scott did a video a couple days ago, I forgot the channel that hosted him, but I left a comment and a few hours later the video was deleted. He is being watched closely, and not by me.

    The real Jesus" comes like a thief in the night." He will take everything Christians believe and hold as so precious. The truth is not what it seems. Many think they know the scriptures and that they are rich in understanding God's word, but in reality, they are" blind, poor, and miserable spiritually." Christianity began as a spirit-oriented people, but only a few understand what spirit means today.

    Isn't it interesting that like the pharicies of old we have a corporate government that makes laws , many of them a man cannot bare , Moses bust resides high above congress. If people followed Jesus commandments you wouldn't need law. So it's the same thing bondage under the law, doesn't Christ say in Luke woe unto you lawyers.

    Why do you use the Hebrew pronunciation for Jesus? I've noticed people starting to do that. Where does this come from?

    • @HamrickCE
      @HamrickCE  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Because it's His name and His name has meaning. Yah is the Father's name and the "shua" means "is salvation", Yah is salvation. Of course we see the Yah in Hallelujah meaning praise Yah. Yah's name is on His city, Jerusalem as we pronounce it in English but it would be Yahusalem. We see Yah's name on His servants such as Johnathan "Yahnathan" and even Elijah "EliYah" meaning Yah is my God. Now we have someone in the OT with the exact same name and for some reason it wasn't translated to "Jesus" but rather Joshua which is the English form of Yahshua.
      I think it's insulting to be aware of this information and continue to call Yeshua by the name Jesus as if He is a God made in our image. And I have seen people do just that. One YTber claimed he knew it was Yahshua but that since he is a gentile he will continue to use the name Jesus.

      Greg's church is something like within a mile of where I attended 2-4th grade. I know the area well. Greg, not so much.

    You have no need of anything their church has to offer.
