He is what one will call '' A proper Soldier ''. He started right from the bottom ranks and rose to become a General. There's only a few people on this planet who have been able to do that. Huge respect to this General. After 'A' levels in 1987 we went for the officers recruitment in Teshie and in the middle of the obstacle trials he checked our A level results and pulled some of us aside and he said to us '' You 3 guys have too good a result to join the Army and he kicked us out.He advised us to rather go to University and if after that , we still want to join the Army he will personally make sure we are admitted . I became an Accountant, the second became a Lawyer and the 3rd became a diplomat with the UN. This man changed my destiny and I am glad he did. He had our welfare at heart even though he did not know us. I am so grateful. God bless him with good health and happiness.
MrAFORCEONE, Please, do visit this man one day before he become disoriented in life or even demise so that people around you and him will learn the importance of doing good unconditionally to people they didn't know. Everything is not about you and your family alone, money is not everything but you can also save someone through good advise and encouragement to success which is also salvation without demanding tithe.
I was one of his soldier when his was posted to head the Northern command of the armed forces in Kumasi. I was by then in the 6th infantry battalion. I salute you from afar Sir.
He is a Great Man. I had the chance to visit him at Kumasi early 2000 with my Late Dad who was also in the Military. My Dad had only good things to say about him for their years of friendship. I pray longlife and great Health for him🙏🏾💐

Am just curious, did I hear him, Samuel Attah-Mensah saying, Charles Taylor killed Ex-President Doe? That's a big gbaa (misfired) and you even made the whole General followed your gbaa - 55:01. I thought it was Prince Johnson and his forces after Ex-President Doe and his forces were lured into the kill zone. (Sixty-eight members of Doe’s entourage were massacred by the forces of the rebel leader, Prince Johnson, at the port on September 9. Doe was captured, and died after 12 hours of torture at Mr Johnson’s hands).
Is he a full general or a major general? It’s not the same thing. Get the record straight. There are 5 stars, 4 stars generals 3 star general and 2 star generals
