I played this as an audition piece in 7th grade when I had just started viola... Made it into all-state and our middle and high school orchestras!

is it just me, or did he get the bowing wrong? For my book, the first note is an up bow, but he played a down bow.

Please read the description below the video (always)! I explain that these are the bowings in the older edition so they are indeed backwards. I also give a link to a video with the revised bowings. Some people still use the old. Thank you for watching.
