I love this hotel. I have been there an astonishing 17 times! They always treat me and my family beautifully. Many employees from day one are still there and always remember your name giving this a nonstuffy atmosphere. I hope to return when this pandemic is over. Really anywhere in the islands is a gorgeous experience no matter the star of the hotel. The lobby has been updated since this video and is gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and nicely appointed. Lunch at Ferraros or breakfast at Duo or a poolside drink are my highlights.
@@Kreatures100 nothing wrong with that. But looking at current prices. You are looking at 10k just for a room for a week. With all the bs taxes. Then they hammer u with overpriced crap. I absolutely love your videos! My hubby and I have stayed at The Four Seasons Maui twice...first on our honeymoon 24 1/2 years ago and on our 7th wedding anniversary (we brought our 4 year old son). Now, our son is 21 years old and his sister is 15 years old. I think it’s time to go back to this absolutely gorgeous resort, hopefully on our silver wedding anniversary in January or later, when this pandemic ends. Thank you for bringing back so many beautiful memories. Thank you for sharing😊
Hey, I really love your videos and i am so jealous i cant do this for a living. I love the way you shoot your videos so immaculately, getting all the details so gracefully with the perfect background music. It is the closest to being their in person. If you ever have an opening i am ready to work for free. Keep up the amazing job.
Haha, at 12:06! I'd looked away from my TV for a second and when I looked back at the screen I was like 'wow, stunning sunset!' 😍 And then the camera moved and I realised that it's a painting! 👌🏻😆
My 3rd video of yours. Already recommended your Greek videos to friends traveling there soon. I come really close to saying you missed your calling because these videos are so well done! However, I understand the doctoring is what's given you what you need to do this upscale traveling! I need more hours in the day so I can watch all of your videos!
What a gorgeous place-putting it mildly!! I would love to stay there but I doubt I could afford it. I did stay at the Hyatt Regency Maui once. That was fabulous also. This one seems bigger & a little more exclusive.
ALOHA! Wonderful video...you captured many beautiful images.. i LIVE ON MAUI....for 20 years now...from Los Angeles...never looked back! Maui does have some of the most incredible beaches in Hawaii, one of the 100 reasons why I live here.... as far as the Four Seasons Resort...it is one of my fave resorts with impeccable service, to say the least.. yes, its an older property, and can always be updated...that being said, the essence is the location along wailea beach... i noticed your video was shot around thanksgiving which is a big holiday and many tourists (with children in tow) thus the busy feel of the resort....if you want less crowds, you must visit Maui after or before high seasons...that is, late april thru june, and September thru early december are off seasons....and you MUST visit Big Beach...truly paradise! I enjoy your videos, thank you very much! I don't know all Four Seasons properties but as far as I have been to, I liked Marrakech Morocco and Kyoto Japan.
To be honest, I've never stayed at a Four Seasons Resort. However, your video is very inspiring, so... I would also like to experience this, either in Maui or Lanai. Thanks for the great job you do with these magnificent videos.
Favorite beach? It’s hard to go wrong with Coogee Beach or Bondi Beach even though they’re seasonal. As for the CONUS, Rehoboth Beach, DE and Ocean City, MD are very nice.
Amazing video. I just got back from Maui a week ago and will definitely be going back soon. I stayed in the Ka'anapali area, which has a nice vibe with Whalers Village being close with all its shops and restaurants and I did walk to Lahania, but too far for most people and much of the walk into Lahania is not very scenic as you pass through some hillbilly huts. Kaanapali was close to some of the sailing excursions I wanted to go on. I spent a day walking through the resorts in the Wailea area and they all are so beautiful and there are no guys hassling you to buy timeshares like at the Ka'anapali area....(Getting hustled on my holidays is very annoying!!) Some of the resorts in Ka'anapali are almost as expensive as Wailea, but nowhere as beautiful. For a comparable price point, or even 20% higher, I would stay in Wailea. Kaanapali does have some decent mid-range resorts for those who are budget conscious and lots of decent restaurants. Wailea has The Shops at Wailea, which is nice (ABC stores to Rolex and Gucci) and has a great pub called the Pint and Cork. I observed Maui as being very family oriented and there were many families as well as older couples. I am going back to Honolulu in February, I kind of wish it was Maui.
A nice and vibrant space. Quite lovely. 😊 Definitely good for families. A bit less so for single people or couples in my opinion. I guess because it's so huge and noisy.
@@juliansutherland6364 There were a few days when the pool area would be crowded, but for the most part it never felt that crowded at all. We've always had a good, relaxing time there.
Hello from Mauritius. This looks like a fantastic resort with some great views however it seems to be a little on the crowded side. When it comes to resorts I always prefer something quite quiet. I only stay in big resorts because of a connection to it. For example I stay at the royal Hawaiian because I went there as a kid so I have a connection to the place. This seems too big for my liking and I don't think I would stay here. By the way you were right about Mauritius the scenery is good but not great but I'm still loving it here and I think I'll go back at some time but I'll have to take my kids with me. Great video as usual. Are there any more videos on Hawaii coming out as I would like to cast a wide net for when I go and maybe visit another resort that isn't the Royal Hawaiian.
Enjoy your time in sunny Mauritius. I will upload a few more resorts about Hawaii in the coming weeks: - Andaz Maui at Wailea - Traavasa Hana - St Regis Kaui - Hyatt Regency Kauai I wish you safe and happy travels!
Yes, this one is expensive but seems to have the atmosphere of the 3/4* hotels I went to as a child for family holidays. Just my taste, but I prefer quiet, private places - and preferably ones that aren't in a chain (except maybe Belmond). Do you have any plans to do the Belmond luxury train/stay to Machu Picchu in Peru? I'd love to see that one.
This place reminds me a bit of the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay (and many hotels in Hawaii + California for that matter) - very nice backdrops (can't deny that) but ridiculously crowded with people everywhere making it feel like a mass market luxury resort of sorts.
I'm always watching your vids you should go and visit philippines we a have a lot of beautiful 5 star hotels and resorts here, i will be happy if my country will be featured!

Ihilani before it was taken by marriot and before it was Four Seasons Ko 'Olina. stayed there multiple times before it was taken by marriot. i was there while they were filming Waterworld. it was kinda surreal seeing the movie set floating out there in the ocean.
Love this place, but don't understand the need for a heated pool in Hawaii. I hate swimming in bathwater. Where is the lovely shock and the acclimating that is the best part of swimming in hot weather. Maybe somewhere where it's only sixty degrees Fahrenheit or so. Not in Hawaii.
I have to say. This is one of my favorite FSR. Yes, it is very crowded, but what resort in HI isn't? It is in a good location. It offers a lot. Your video and commentary is very good. That being said, based on other FSR around the world, this one seems to be more crowed than others.
