my mom gave me one of hers that was my grandmothers before she passed away. its around 7 years old, the rhizomes are turning brown from white, the ferns were drying out and becoming brittle. The soil is hard due to the rhizomes over growing in a pot too small for them to spread out and water wasn't penetrating. So I had to clear away the dead and old stuff, soaked it in a pot of water overnight. Woke up this morning and the fern sprung back to life. I put it in a larger hanging pot with holes around the sides so I hope it will continue to grow. Thanks for the video.

I would like to know too! I"m new to Rabbit Foot Fern and mine, after months of struggling isn't doing well thats how I clicked on it. I wouldn't call it a "bait" though; the video is way too unsophisticated, actually harrowing to watch, erratic and imprecise. Idk why everyones having a hissy fit about the damn soil recipe, this videos gotten 23k views its obviously helpful...google a soil recipe or use common knowledge, its not that hard. Thanks @kittyangel for the tips and the videos!
I couldn't stop thinking how gross to bring that soil that has mites and bugs and all kinds of larva eggs in it and she brings it to her BEDROOM of all places and WATERS it on her rug and pulls her bed blanket around the containers for shade!! 😳 Who cares about her "mixture" or her "videos" after seeing that!! TH-cam has a million more videos I'll watch those instead. 🤣🤣
