At the end of the night one of *Willie’s* crew came and got me (lighting guy) and the stage and house sound guys and brought us to his bus... just like you’d imagine, when the doors opened it smelled like the kindest grow house you’ve ever seen. Sitting there was *Willie,* rolling a _ginormous_ spliff and he told us to sit down and get comfortable, finished rolling the joint (which was some *_incredible_* blueberry smelling strain), handed it to me with a lighter and *_proceeded to thank us_* for the work we did running his show... *_nobody_*_ ever_ thanked the house sound, stage sound and lighting folk but here was, frelling *Willie Nelson,* offering us praise and smoking a joint with us. He is just as cool, funny and mellow a cat as you can imagine and I will forever hold that night in a special place in my heart !!
