Thank god. I picked up a juvenile Cambridgei at a reptile show recently and she molted and turned out to be female. and she is GORGEOUS. that earthy greenish brown color with those neon orange chevrons is stunning.
Hey, Alex. I actually noticed that with my Cambridgei too, if you put a cork bark tube in there they will always be in the tube. I'm thinking of putting a flat or a half-round cork bark in her next enclosure.
Hey just wanted the thoughts on the Bugarium that you're using for your P camb. I have one in waiting, see a lot of owners in forums worrying about the type of screen top being flimsy, replacing with acrylic, reinforcing with tape to avoid stuck feet, etc etc. Just wanted to hear your experience with these. May use mine for my GBB (who loves to climb) or Tapi sp. Union Island in the future. They really are a perfect enclosure size for a lot of Ts. Also curious if you reinforce the top as they don't seal or clamp tight. Ive seen some folks use tape to assist in securing the top closed. Aquarium clips do not appear to work as there is no "lip" inside the glass. Loved the vid as always thanks!
Hey David, It's cheap and does the trick especially for a GBB that likes it dry. I don't think escape should be a problem but I still put a little weight on the lid just in case. I am in the process of coming up with a way to lock the lid using a bungee cord (maybe I'll make a video on it.) I'm not really worried about her feet getting caught in the screen because the mesh isn't that small and don't think those tiny hooks will get caught in it. I am concerned with humidity so I'm considering putting some plexiglass on the lid to keep some of the moisture in. I think it's great especially for those in between species that don't get too large. Hope this helps. :)
I only have new world terrestrials right now and my P sazimai is definitely the most skittish of them. It's still less than 2" across and still isn't showing much blue. :(
I'm definitely going to have to add these to the collection. Thanks for sharing.
Very very nice tarantulas im definitely looking out for one of these, on my old world species list for sure🕷🕸🇬🇧 (indian violet)
Nice Rehouse :) Excellent Video .. thank you for sharing it with us.
Gorgeous tarantulas 😀 The female P. Cambridgei stay a greenish/brown color while they male have more of a grey/brown coloration.
