I have been away from the philippines for 34 years now, living here in Montreal as a naturalize citizen. Even if i call Canada as my second home, but still i am emotionally & phisically connected to my birth country. I know how it feels to missed your love one's, people who are close to your heart. Yeah i think after all the troubles you've gone through (i'm following your vlogs) it's time to reconnect and continue your journey and hopefully brings you back to the phiippines again in due time. Holding dual citizenship is really great to connect with our homeland. I also want to move to Canada, and I think having a second passport can really fulfill dreams of traveling the world without visas.
I used to lived Australia for almost 20 years..another 7 years somewhere else..one of the best experienced i made is to go back PH. And realised that the world is too big and so much to see rather than stuck in one place all your life😅

Mike and Nelly, your blogs makes a lot of us happy and this one made me cry also as I a live here in Virginia, USA. My heart goes out for both of you as you poured out your emotions about getting to see your family again. I feel sad because it's almost 5 years that I have not seen my family either because of this pandemic. I did not want to be vaccinated for health and medical reasons but it looks like the whole world is really taking control of us. So sad 😥.

I have experience such mix emotions. There was a time when I flew back to Philippines after 5 years and I kept on thinking how it was to meet my parents, siblings, relatives and friends after such a long time.
