If you put a pully on the opposite side and run another line down the port side and tie it to your carabiner like a V shaped yoke. This way, you will be pulling the motor up straight without the twist. SUPER great idea tho. I will def use this!!! Thanks
I'd just use an eye bolt mounted some where close to that tie down instead with a hook on that line. That way you just pull up the motor and hook it on the eye bolt...DONE! Then you don't have to thread it thru the tie down every time and wear out the cable.
Hello bro!! Good job 👏🏻, what about turning the engine 360°? won't the rope get in the way? I intend to do this on my aluminum boat, climb this way but using an electric car window motor.
very cool. i am modifying my Jackson cuda hd
Great setup bro. Thanks for the idea.
It has worked well so far. Just keep the motor shaft greased
like this setup going to do the exact same thing to mine thanks for the tip

I’ve never turned it 360. It turns well and then I always have the reverse feature.
Thanks.
Be cool to have a anchor wizard on there to crank it up and down
I tried that but it is so easy to pull up and anchor trollers are not cheap.
what size drill bit did u use for the hole on the propeller and what size for the harken pully
Sorry wish I remembered.
Could have just put a pulley on the bottom caribiner. On motor. That would have given you 2 to1. Right?
Yeah I started to do that but I didn’t want a submerged pulley
Do you really talk like Larry the Cable Guy?
No. He has a fake Oklahoma accent. I’m just a hillbilly from the Appalachian mountains.
