If this wasn’t in a crate, I would consider buying it. I love American battleships (well, most at least) and this seems like a hilarious ship to play, with the engine boost and radar (almost like the Georgia) And as a American, I hate the giant eagles they plaster on every American ship with the special camo, some (like Missouri,s) look good, except for the giant eagle that looks like it was hit by some bullet train.
It's kinda fun if you're used to playing cruisers, but then its mediocrity always spoils it. I had a game where I've engaged a Jinan point-blank. He smokes, I radar, all guns on target, shaves less than half of his health off, a lot of shots miss or overpen, no citadels. The guns are what really lets her down, and that makes it a hard sell, if you can grind battlecruisers like St Vincent for free. I really feel this should have been a T9, or even a T8 if they left the reload at 20s, it would have been reasonable. The AA would have been murderous for the tier, allowing her to use the speed and position aggressively.
It's a good battleship in Rhode Island, but you have to be careful of the carriers these days. We're preparing to send bomber bombers to our carrier and put them in the trap, so I hope you'll be careful

Both, although Legends only on Mobile. I'm a CC (community contributor) on Blitz, on Legends, it's just my personal grind, and I'm relatively new there.
I'm honestly not impressed with this thing. Feels like if French and American Designers got together and had a dinner party and drank too much. And designed large warships whilst drunk and came up with something that became Rhode Island.
America took design cues from the French on the original NC project. It’s not actually a quad turret. It’s 2x2x3. There’s a bulkhead in the center essentially separating each turret into two turrets. They did that so 4 guns wouldn’t be knocked out with a direct hit, only 2 would. French did the same with their quad turrets. Although that doesn’t translate IG
Yes, that's a viable tactic, actually - plays much more like a cruiser. I've had an engagement where I was reversing away from a GK, it's doable, just be aware that you need your team to help, because your guns won't do anything.
That's actually not how I pick battles 😂 I'm usually selecting from the recordings whichever one shows best what the ship can and can't do. But yeah, if I get sunk halfway in, that's usually not helping with that.
I have to fully disagree with this, crates will be crates, but calling this entire event trash because of one crate is (at least in my opinion) stupid. There are many, many opportunities to get a free ship (sims, hill, Helena, BLK New Mexico) the daily login is good, the missions are mostly easy. And yes you do need to grind, but what did you expect? That’s every game. I am not trying to sound rude, but calling an entire event because of (yeah, a stupid crate chance) isn’t the best thing in the world But again, that’s just my opinion
@@gleamingcolt just have a bad taste in my mouth from the event last year. it's so similar and i worked very hard and didn't really get much out it for my efforts. So u can disagree that's your right. But my experience last year has soured me on this type of event. I respect your opinion. But good luck to u and everyone. Sitting it out this time.
