I collect movies since decades and certainly one of my ever lasting favorite genres are Martial Arts movies and above all classics from the golden era between the Mid Sixties and The Mid Eighties and certainly also the decades afterwards but the main focus is on the mentioned decades and here I state: "The older the better" ,the best were produced during the late Sixties as this Wuxia classic by Joseph Kuo gives us a splendid example of that era. Take for example the movie "Shaolin Temple 3: Martial Arts of Shaolin" ( also named North and South Shaolin) which was produced by SB in 1986, great movie with Jet Li but the music is shit ( the end song gives me for example stomach pains ) , only one important point is the music , if you review a movie don't forget to think about all aspects ! Here all is topnotch: Martial Arts choreography ( with a bit fantastic flying Kung Fu , but it is very artful and coolo ) , superb acting , a very thick atmosphere supported by a suitable splendid soundtrack, a master director Josep Kuo ...it's one of those rare jewels where all is outstanding and Eureka is one of the finest reference labels for such old school Kung Fu and Wuxia classics !! P.S: I hope Eureka release soon the other two sequels ( :"The Bravest Revenge and The Ghost Hill" ) as HD Blu Ray editions,. one can find only taiwanese DVDs for these movies at the moment but even they are everywhere almost sold out and very hard to find !!

Thanks for the writeup/confirmation cause I'm quite new to this genre & looking for some good ones to get. There are so many to choose from but the trailer for this one stood out as something special to me

​@@BUKUDIA martial arts swordsman masterpiece par excellence , almost the best I've ever seen, only the One- Armed Swordsman and the New One Armed Swordsman are equal for example ...but you'll find a lot of superb examples among old school flics !
