i went with bant auras initially as well but later landed on temur storm..... chatterstorm...galvanic relay.... big score.... unexpected windfall... cram session.... first day of class.... the red green guy that reduces red n green spells by 1 and the izzet goblin that reduces instant n sorcery by 1 ..... the goal os to cast enough spells to cast first day of class then chatterstorm to get enough squirrels to win on the spot
Nice! I know it's very unlikely, but it'd be awesome if Arena got a permanent Historic Pauper or Artisan queue. It would be fun to explore these formats further.
There seem to be three groups of people playing this mode: 1. people who are at least reasonably good at Pauper 2. people who saw the game mode and thought it would be friendly for less experienced players 3. RABBOT SMASH
not gonna lie, got my 3 wins win with mah bunnies go brrrrr and never looked at the event again... mwm is always a misery for me, the only time i enjoyed playing it was foundations release where we got to use all of foundations cards to build our deck without crafting or actually having the card
Hasbro loves money and if you don't need to jam your deck with $500 worth of rares to play their game then they don't make as much. While Arena is a controlled system, it's harder to regulate your local game shop or FNM in real life.
this deck's worst nightmare, "target opponent sacrifices a creature". Just went against a guy with a deck specifically designed to beat this, so that was fun
Yay! I love pauper. Interestingly, auras is one of the few pauper archetypes that can achieve a positive win rate against more powerful decks in historic.
I ran a Chatterstorm brew for Midweek Magic. I got dunked on by one once and was compelled to brew it myself. Nothing like playing 20+ power of hasty squirrels in one turn. >_>
I love pauper. If that format were on arena, I may launch the game! It's just huge and hard to know what needs to be included for the brewers, so I understand why it isn't.
I was playing a RB threaten/sacrifice deck, beat pretty much everything apart from Cranial Ram decks. Was great against this deck with it's few creatures. (Innocent Blood, Tithing Blade Accursed Marauder etc)
I would love to see Pauper added as a permanent format on Arena, though I think we all know that Hasbro doesn't much like the idea of people not having to open 1,000 packs to play their game.
I ran an artifact/kuldotha agro/burn deck, and my win rate was 11:2, it overwhelmed everything. basically all one drops besides flamebreathers, and many of them facilitated draw/impulse draw. It was so consistent
@LegendVD Hello and Thank u for all ur great videos i wanna ask u if u do some changes in ur mono blue deck i wanna craft it but i dont know if is not like outdated thank u for help :) ❤
@@LegenVD There's Jungleborn Pioneer at 3 mana so you can have 8 creatures with hexproof in green. More expensive but with an extra body to chump or protect against edicts.
Posting a little earlier in case people haven’t had a chance to check out the event yet!
Appreciate you!

Thanks bro I’m yoinking this
@ Sounds fun!

Then play the event a bit every day it's available because apparently that's the only metric they care about
Thats my dream! But...sadly, not gonna happen

"NOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T JUST PLAY 40+ COPIES OF THE SAME CARD IN ONE DECK AND EXPECT IT TO WORK"
"haha bnnuy go brrrr"
And then there's my turbofog deck where you better not be relying on combat damage to win.

Ah Bogles.. even without the namesake card "Slippery Bogle" it will always exist
The amount of value in this deck is truly mind-bogling!
Why can’t they just keep this format around forever? Pauper is awesome

Mulligan to 4, flood and draw 4 lands in a row, win. Pretty normal.
LVD cooking some awesome stuff and I'm just waltzing through the event with a shitty Hare Apparent deck lol
I love seeing some pauper featured on your channel

Pauper!!! My favourite format 😊
Yay! I love pauper. Interestingly, auras is one of the few pauper archetypes that can achieve a positive win rate against more powerful decks in historic.
is blu really worth it? the mana base is so scuffed....I prefer the selesnya version tbh
I had the same thought.
Love to see other formats
I did all hare apparents with 4 soul wardens and 20 lands. Won every game easy.
This would be a contest against the Zombie Recursion deck with Gempalms running Accursed Marauders that make you sac the hexproof bigboy.

long time fan! love your videos LVD

That first game was crazy! Mulligan to 4 and won!? Boggles is crazy 🔥

Pauper representation!? LET'S GOOOOO LUCA!!! 🔥🤘
I can't believe it. Finalllllly. A pauper video. Much love LVD❤

I used a jeskai energy deck, with a surprising level of success
I used a similar deck, but in Abzan. I didn't know Blue had a hexproof creature as well.
Built the hare apparent deck, 40 bunny’s 20 lands, went 3-1 lol hilarious
Pauper on arena would be 🔥
Almost all opponents I faced played some kind of aura deck. I did as well 😅
Expected to see you try out multiple decks in one video, but I guess this deck is the best one so there’s not really a point in playing other decks
I did that video a couple years ago iirc.
@LegendVD Hello and Thank u for all ur great videos i wanna ask u if u do some changes in ur mono blue deck i wanna craft it but i dont know if is not like outdated thank u for help :) ❤
I tried to play some fun, maybe janky decks, and lost every time to boggles. Then I played boggles and won every time. Fun I guess haha
also...8 creatures a bit too few eh? I play with 14 and sometimes still feels like I need more!
Really only need to draw one, but could try 10 total.
Bogles
Why so soon
Early video let's go
Selesnya could be better in my humble opinion
Would have to play Ward creatures instead of only Hexproof, but the mana would be a lot better.
@@LegenVD There's Jungleborn Pioneer at 3 mana so you can have 8 creatures with hexproof in green. More expensive but with an extra body to chump or protect against edicts.
@ Yeah, used to play it in previous builds. Might still be better to play Toadstool and try to speed up the deck more.
Anything but Discard Black format....oh wait, it's called Standard Bo1 isn't it.
Quick 3-0 within an hour of you posting this - thanks LVD!
