Rufus is a small utility that helps format and create bootable USB flash drives, such as USB keys/pendrives, memory sticks, etc.
It can be be especially useful for cases where:
you need to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, etc.)
you need to work on a system that doesn't have an OS installed
you need to flash a BIOS or other firmware from DOS
you want to run a low-level utility

The problem isn't making a bootable USB with Hireney's Boot CD ISO, the problem is how to actually USE HBCD tools from the USB drive! How do you do that? HBCD tools never loads when boot from USB, only CD

How will Hiren's Boot CD work on the USB version? Can you save documents to the USB straight away, and will it create a permanent default "Documents" folder on the USB Flash Drive?

Ahh, Thankyou again, my frends machine locked up with the police ransome virus, i instructed him via your earlier video to remove it, smashing and after another go with malware bytes it was fine again :-)

How does your computer shop computers stay safe from bots and worms since they spread from computer to computer? Wouldn't that destroy anyones network? I think that's how some of my computers have been infected. I didn't download anything but some one elts did.

So the latest & greatest is still useable on win 7? Leaving rufus on your pc wont make your antivirus think its malware, will it? Got a gateway laptop, nv79 series from a neighbor, as they were movibg, but its password protected! Nice, older win 7 laptop - intel i5, win 7.. screen is still sharp, runs quiet, etc! Tried to get windows recovery/reset to come up via f10 but no luck, so want to try & run hirens usb to at least get into the system. Dont care about previous owners old boring data, files, etc. Thank you 🤓
This did not work for me. I destroyed 3 jump drives trying this. None of the jump drives are recognized by my computer. When I plug them in they have a exclamation point inside a triange. Thirty dollars wasted trying to get this to work. So now I have no laptop & no money left to purchase jump drives.

i just download Hiren's BootCD 15.2 Rebuild All in One Bootable CD and try to run it as you say but found that MagicISO has document extension instead of file so i couldn't do any things plz what shall i do know?????? help me

When trying to use avivra i get a error like:
Windows cannot find 'scan.log'. Naje sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again to search for a file, click: the Start Button, and then click search.
I have an older Asus system from about 2005 and I use XP. I wonder if my BIOS will let me boot from a USB device. Or I can just burn a CD. I guess I won't know til I try it. What'ya think?
Happy new year, Brian. Really enjoy your videos as I always learn something new in the process. Would love to know how to made bootable USB drive capable of booting different ISO images. Like if I have a 8 or 16GB thumbdrive, I can store Win7, Win8 and other images on it and select at bootup. It would be very useful for PC tech like myself instead of carrying multiple CDs and thumbdrives.

When rufus puts the Boot CD on my USB, my anti virus won't let me put one of the autorun files on the USB so it can't start. What can I do?

Doesn't seem to be working for me, I done everything the same but I cannot boot into the USB? The only difference with mine is I'm using Windows 10 and it only took 2 minutes to copy everything across?

If you still haven't gotten in to it then you can put hirens on a flash drive or CD and boot with kon boot and it will let you log in without typing the password.

Great video bro . but I only have one problem with it and its every time i try to boot into the USB using my VMbox I keep getting a boot error message . but when I boot from my main HDD its works like a charm . so I don't know If its just something wrong with my VMbok setting or what not but I'll go thru my VMbox setting to see if that's going to fix the problem !

Is it possible to add my own boot menu items for example I bought a copy of kon boot it's the latest version and I want to put it on the hirens boot cd. Considering the kon boot included is outdated on hirens boot disc.

I have just seen this on ebay which looks quiet interesting and promising.
just type "ULTRABOOT DISK"
It has built in 32gb Tools which includes all MS-DARTS! and other useful Tools. Plus it boots in Legacy Bios mode and UEFI mode! I'd check it out and give feedback.
