Great takeaways. Communication is key when dealing with conflict. Respecting differences of opinion, agreeing to disagree, walking in humility, love, grace & compassion go a long way in marriage when conflict arises. Seeking wise Godly counselors can help save struggling marriages.

You two have so much wisdom to share. I wished that there were leaders in my community that were transparent and that encouraged communication when I was in a marriage.

This was excellent. "Keep your conflict confidential" and "don't let your children get wet by your storm" really stood out to me. Thank you for your transparency and wisdom.

Thanks for being transparent. It shows that everyone including pastors and first lady's have arguments in their relationships but they also work it out.

I think that I have watched almost every episode! I LOVE this channel and I have recommended it to many. In MIT (Minister's In Training) we were asked about our first encounter with God. There were some mind blowing testimonies shared. Bishop and Dr. Steph, at what age did you both experience God for yourselves and what was that like?

In terms of conflict, my mom says men fight it out & get it out that day. Women can wait months/ years to get someone back. But we should allow God to get our revenge. Also, we should choose our battles & remember that the man is the head of the household period. We can be strong women but we should be submissive to our man. We chose him back for a reason. Also, love is the highest law of God, but love can also come with punishments & boundaries it's not always lovey dovey. I think y'all are helping couples feel normal & have much more legacy to live! And that's also true that you should keep your business, your business. But also the sickness & health, richer or poorer is real & is a choice for the strong! But also, God should always be 1st! We as women can inflate our husband's egos, but God is @ the top always. But we definitely should worship them like our reverence to Jesus & the man will treat the woman how he treats his body. Ultimately, prayer within your marriage helps conflict. 💕💕💕

Thank you for this! I appreciated you mentioning having counseling for the first two years and beyond. I hadn't thought of doing that, but I think it's sound advice. I also liked the idea of intentionally letting your children see some disagreements and make ups. I found this very helpful. I'm looking forward to the next episode. God bless you!

Currently going through a disagreement and I don't even know where to begin to communicate because our disagreements are always one sided. He states his point then when I state how I feel I'm always wrong and told I should think this way or I should have done this or that. I feel like that's not fair. How can he tell me how to think or feel. I am an individual. But when we're happy it's all good. This only happens during times of disagreement.
