There is a good chance that we lose Joe Brady this offseason, and the offense without a good OC gets very sluggish. They’ll need another high caliber weapon. As for the defense, this is the first year of a reset. They are worse than the defense was in weeks 1-3 last year, but much better than the end of the season last year due to how ravaged they were. One thing I’d like to remind everyone of is that the Bills had an uncharacteristically bad game last week. The offense took FOREVER to get going, half due to a team wide sluggish start, and half due to them missing Coleman and Kincaid. They’re back in this game. We have them last week, we probably score at least three points before and/or after halftime. If that had happened, the Bills would’ve won, despite playing very poorly all around. It’s easy to forget because of how awesome Josh Allen is that the offense didn’t play well until late in the game. That didn’t give the defense even a small chance to reset and regroup. I also don’t think that the defense will just get lost in transit this week. Sure, they’re thin, but so are the Lions. I think that Josh Allen and the Bills are in shootout mode, and have a great run game too. With Kincaid and Coleman back, everybody eats, and when everybody eats, the other team gets put in a hole. I love the Lions, but they are banged up and have been a bit sluggish on offense, and as long as the Bills defense plays even an okay game, they will do more to slow them down than they did last week. I think the Bills can win this game!
If it's Ingram and not Elam then it confirms that the Bills wasted a first pick on a possible CB2 who barely got to play and was never given a chance. Why was he never given a chance? Whh does Sean McDermott hate him?
Can Buffalo defense meet the moment? Is McDermott's philosophy good enough? Can Bobby Babich come up with a great defensive strategy that will match Lions offense? Are the defensive players embarrassed enough by last weekends trouncing to actually show up an play? Waiting for a real defense in Buffalo.
It sucks not having Rasul at full strength. He's very good when he is. The reason some of these vet players get injuries is because of their aggressive play.
In regard to Elam, I'm beginning to lose faith in the brass to correctly diagnose the best personnel for this team. For example, look how strong of a season Poona Ford is having with the Chargers. We never gave him a chance last season, even with struggles at the DT position. I never understood that, and as I recall, neither did Joe. I feel the same thing is happening with Elam. I get picking Benford and Douglas over him to start, but Ingram? I just don't get that. I wonder if it has something to do with personality preferences, rather than talent? I don't know. I guess we'll never know.
One of things holding Bills back is the limited thinking of McDermott. Everything is earned!! Thinking on Elam is insane. Did he beat McDermott in a wrestling match? It's a mystery!!!
Depth on the practice squad and he must be a good enough talent that we would be sick seeing him on another team. I’d like to hear Joe’s take on this, but it seems like the Bills are officially in “getting the other team’s best effort” territory-similar to how teams play the Chiefs every week. Will Sean McDermott please explain why he has not ever really liked or used Kiar Elam! I believe he owes the fans a real sincere explanation on this # 1 pick. He seems to have a negative attitude toward him. I know he loves Benford because of the wrestling experience. And I think that had a bunch to do with their first season.
Wouldn't the tiebreaker with Pittsburgh first be decided with conference record, both currently 7-2. However, the Bills have NE, Jets, NE... and Pittsburgh has Baltimore, KC, Bengals. We should win all three, and KC may lose one of those three.
The Bills are a resilient group but they lost 2 games in a row this season against 2 good teams & I believe it will happen again this week. I don't think it will be as high scoring as many believe. Both defenses will respond from their last performance. Lions 24 Bills 21.
And Buffalo will hopefully be a game ahead of Pittsburgh if they lose to the Eagles and one of the last three. Anyhow, a lot left and a great year. Bringing me back to 1990... not to jinx Bass. Go Bills!
Clev is going to beat KC and re-open the path for the one seed 1. KC is playing the first game of a 3 games in 10 days ! Opponents Clev Hou Pitt. Absolutely brutal! Bills go out and beat Det. The D plays much better and Josh Allen solidifies his MVP season with another banger! Sounds like a fantastic NFL script to me 😂. Go Bills!

Vegas has decided the Lions will win a close one this week. They Need to get the betting up. I think most are expecting a Lions blowout because of the Bills decimated D. Vegas wants the bets rolling in, so it's going to be close.
Kaiir Elam deserves his chance. Let the dude play the game. Rasul Douglas is not a shut down corner. He has given up too many completions and too many TD's for my money. Elam can't be any worse. If it isn't Elam he is DONE in Buffalo.
I think McDermott is too close minded with his "earn it" BS. I want him replaced with Jon Gruden, an offensive minded coach. I won't even go into his time mismanagement and not having tighter control of Smiley for special teams. 9 men on the field? Never heard of it in the history of the NFL.
@@rick.glaser I get ya. The team is sound right now; they already have an established culture and friendships. Our ace in the hole is Josh Allen in that regard. Keeping Beane is more important than McDermott. Everyone is replaceable.

The same reason why Dorian is now a backup is the reason why Elam is sitting the bench. McDermott has his preferences and it trends to be older less athletic veterans over the 23 year olds.
Not the case. Dorian’s not playing atm because Milano (at his best) is a better LB. Elams not playing because Douglas & Benford are better CBs. @@jcZo23 I am pretty sure that is the reason they play the games in the NFL all season. Should the NFL just have you review the rosters in August and decide who gets the Lombardi trophy?
Keep Douglas out til playoffs don't need him vs pats and jets who knows what's going on with elam no one is there but McDermott see him everyday but I remember bills fans torch elam last year vs jags cuz he didn't play well if he play this week its his chance to make a statement he healthy has speed but doesn't have confidence that's key
17:08 - Lewis Cine moved to Linebacker?!?! Whaaat?!
IMO, it will come down to coaching. Lions have the edge. #GoBills
Go Bills
If Elam isn’t the next man up, he shouldn’t be on the team 🤷♂️
Good luck bills. Go lions!!! 27-17 Lions
I think Joe is right that the Lions win. I think the Lions win pretty easily.
Allen has to run for bills O to most explosive … been like that for 5 years … Run Josh Run …
Ingram is going to be in not elam McDermott hinted around to that already he basically said elam hasn't earned it yet
How do you predict 35 31, and also predict we score 32 or more haha
U can not start elam ... Unless u just want to see how he performs against a possible super bowl contender....
And Buffalo will hopefully be a game ahead of Pittsburgh if they lose to the Eagles and one of the last three. Anyhow, a lot left and a great year. Bringing me back to 1990... not to jinx Bass. Go Bills!
Elams only problem is a tendency to be handsy
Too many d holding calls. Fix that and he should start
Love the Bills, but I'm going with the Lions 31-17
Clev is going to beat KC and re-open the path for the one seed 1. KC is playing the first game of a 3 games in 10 days ! Opponents Clev Hou Pitt. Absolutely brutal! Bills go out and beat Det. The D plays much better and Josh Allen solidifies his MVP season with another banger! Sounds like a fantastic NFL script to me 😂. Go Bills!
I never understood the David and Goliath reference. Goliath had no chance vs David. David took down lions with his sling and he knew God had his back. So if Bills are David lol I’ll take that all day baby
Vegas has decided the Lions will win a close one this week. They Need to get the betting up. I think most are expecting a Lions blowout because of the Bills decimated D. Vegas wants the bets rolling in, so it's going to be close.
2025 Super bowl as far as I'm concerned
Kaiir Elam deserves his chance. Let the dude play the game. Rasul Douglas is not a shut down corner. He has given up too many completions and too many TD's for my money. Elam can't be any worse. If it isn't Elam he is DONE in Buffalo.
I hope Kair balls out
Omg this is so easy. Play base D 3 LB’s put Taron in as CB 2 lions play 12 personnel anyways
I think we win a close game, Detroit needs to blow us out... I think
Prepare prepare prepare Bills Mafia. Huge let down on the horizon. D line is so bad we might lose wild card weekend 🤦🏼 sucks man.
Lions mafia
Rooting for Baltimore to win and Steelers to lose is not sage advice Joe.
I think McDermott is too close minded with his "earn it" BS. I want him replaced with Jon Gruden, an offensive minded coach. I won't even go into his time mismanagement and not having tighter control of Smiley for special teams. 9 men on the field? Never heard of it in the history of the NFL.
I can get with that!!
0% chance they move away from McDermott this offseason. Remember the drought?
@@rick.glaser I get ya. The team is sound right now; they already have an established culture and friendships. Our ace in the hole is Josh Allen in that regard. Keeping Beane is more important than McDermott. Everyone is replaceable.
@ McD makes mistakes but so does Andy Reid. Same team as you. 🙏
@@rick.glaser Which is very true.
Elam is getting jobbed. I hate it.
McDermott will out coach Campbell
Elam is a bust 🤔😔
Bills have ruined Elam…”coaching” has failed this kid and the fan base.
Bills are gonna lose to the Lions. The Lions are just to deep. The Lions defense also gets back a lot of there starters. The Lions are going to run all over the Bills.
McDermott sounds like a fool Elam hasnt earned anything?
The same reason why Dorian is now a backup is the reason why Elam is sitting the bench. McDermott has his preferences and it trends to be older less athletic veterans over the 23 year olds.
Not the case. Dorian’s not playing atm because Milano (at his best) is a better LB. Elams not playing because Douglas & Benford are better CBs. If you think McDermott turned the Buffalo Bills into one of the most successful teams in the league the past 5 years by “playing favorites” , then idek what to say.
That is incorrect. Stop it.
@ you can’t say that Milano is better than Dorian in 2024. How many more games you need evidence on this simple fact?
@biggiescooby5836 I'm a huge Dorian fan but you can't say he's not either. He's missed almost 1 and a half years of games. You think he's be back to form after 2 games lol?
@ are you willing to trade huge mistakes on the hope Milano at the age of 30 may return to his all pro form of 2022?
Put Hyde in at corner
Please! Go Lions
Are smoking dope?
