You’d have to keep the beam axle as it’s part of the suspension, but a K20 would fit between in theory if you cut the floor and got custom axles and mounts
@@shane6961 I’ve seen the K and B swaps, my focus was on the Beat’s E07A MTREC swap. It’s like the kei car equivalent of a Type R swap into a Civic in my opinion
@@redlinepaul410 I can’t confirm because I haven’t put them side by side, but I’d highly doubt it. The flywheel on the E07A is significantly smaller than on a D16. Making it so the bolts wouldn’t line up
Think it’ll be easier to fab up a intake. Great work regardless!
Glad to see everything coming together! Can't wait to see the turbo. Are you planning on repairing the old acty engine?
I’d love to get around to it! Maybe put a cool old side draft carb on it.
HELL YES PARTNERB!!!
I wonder if a k 20 with trans would fit in place of the axel
Only one way to find out!

Where were you able to source the Honda beat engine?
Welcome back to make us videos!
This is awesome, I'm looking to do a similar project, any chance I could reach out to you and get some info?
What if you used the FI off a late 90's Acty van? It would probably clear the stock floor.
Is that motor the same bolt pattern to the single cam Honda civic 4 cyl.
Same bolt pattern as what? The wheels? The head?

Just swap/modify the intake, tuck the filter down low. No need to modify the chassis.
