Well what a beautiful place and its really surprised that for most Samoan hadn't been there before . What l mean is, I could feel that I could imagine it a place of dreams including gardens and the position of the house is. And I just couldn't believe they were actually had a great furniture that back in days and love to see the room and comfortable bed as well. I hope you could show me around exactly the same when I come to Samoa.

Awww my home down vailima I bought up.and my dad was are headmaster for the college.that use to be their was next to that place.but the school was close down when my dad move to New Zealand.i use to go to that primary school back.1975.i miss this place.all my friend name Ela.n Euta Filemoni.those were in the same class with me..
Pretty solid workmanship on that house for it to last this long.especially the termite problems in Samoa

Yeah I was watching that programme too Milo, and yeah you're right , what are shame family , they got David Lomas to go all the way to Samoa and go right to the top of Mt. I have a question : What is the important significance of Vailima compered to the First Samoan Parliament, Old Fale Fono at Mulinuú or the Old Courthouse , or the original Mau Office Headquarters which once stood in Vaimoso.? Just a thought ....as there are other treasures I suppose? Vailima is stunning I agree but what is the real story?

This historic mansion is history in its own making, what a beautiful history of the Stevenson family for the whole world to see and captured . I visit Western Samoa back in 1996 that’s when I was living in San Francisco California n now I’m living in Florida n I’m planning a trip to Western Samoa next year in May to marry a very gorgeous n beautiful Lady from Saleilua Fagali’i her name is Annie Fanene n we will definitely take this museum tour, this museum is a history in its own making. Thank you Margaret for the tour your knowledge n understanding of the museum is overwhelming you did a great n an excellent job thank you very much cause I never knew or heard about this Robert Louis Stevenson Museum, may God bless you Margaret n the rest of your staffs that keep up with the upkeeping of this marvelous n a magnificent place. 🌺🌺👏👏🌺🌺
