On the version on ps3 you can get the hawk armor set by the quarry merchant by doing his quest first and higher his affinity. On dark arisen the armor has been removed. It was litteraly Griffith combat armor from berserk.
Which version is better? The PS3 version or the PS4 version. I both consoles and i have been wanting to get the Physical game the entire time. I plan to play it after Mad Max.
DDDA has a lot of bersek reference, not just the witch and mercedes. Heres some references After hitting the duke, you jumped out from the window. This scenes is similar to Griffith jumping out from the castle after doing a certain action During arousing suspicious, when Eleanor sent you to dungeon. This scene is similar to guts rescuing griffifth. In Salvation Quest, at catacomb elysion summons undead, this place reminds of the berserk demon goat scene. Everything in witchwood is pretty much berserk. Salvation logo is closely similar to the marking Daimon First form is obviously Zodd. Force hachet is his weapon The red poisonous water in BBI dungeon is a reference to the "scene". Sinners Armor set is a reference to Guts Wolf Armor. Oblivion armor set is a reference to Silat. The weapon SoulBreaker look similar to Dragonslayer. There are alot more but I forgot, haven't read berserk for a long time
A couple extra: In the original versions of the game on PS3 and 360 you could get the armour and weapons of both Guts and Griffith from the Golden age arc. These however were removed in later versions of the game due to licencing problems. The second or third present male in the character creator looks very similar to Guts (Notably his Golden age appearance before he lost his eye.)
Edit: About the Aragorn bit... I think it's much more likely he inspired the strider. If you take a look at page 126 of the design works, Ikeno talks about art submission for a strider/ranger type character. Both of which are titles which Aragorn is dubbed. Also the artwork is much similar to his hooded looked with a sword when he is revealed in the film. Thanks for stopping by! The whole Strider thing is a mix. Striders have a skill using daggers called Cutting Wind or something similar that pretty much mimics (albeit in a realistic fashion) Strider Hiryu's Ragnarok special move. The term Strider itself is just a normal word pertaining to somebody who travels by foot or who is swift-footed.

Not a reference to anything I know but still a quite obscure detail. You can play catch with pawns by throwing boars.
