Wonderfull! I wonderfull what is You average winter temperature? We had -12C last night, so I guess I could only put some evergreens on my porch 🎄

Thanks 🥰 It’s pretty mild in the new garden but some of these plants are VERY cold hardy (I imagine in the ground gives you a better chance or containers with a thick side to protect the rootball): eucalyptus to -15/-20C ; skimming to -18C ; dryopteris erytrhosa (fern) is rated zone 5a down to -28C !! There are a lot of options 🤗💚

I'm in heaven! I just planted a tree in my front garden in a wooded section - I wish you could teleport to Belgium and we could do a version of this together in my garden! I'd supply the chocolates and coffee! You have given me such inspiration for our new garden (house built last year) - merci!
