Throughout the year of 2021, LEGO Ninjago has released 7 different Golden Ninja minifigures to celebrate the theme's 10th Anniversary. However, they're not all perfect - and there's potential modifications you can make to some of them. In this video, I go over every way I can think of to fix, modify, or change these minifigures using the new 2022 parts, and provide you with different options for display!

Yeah I think having Nya as Samurai X makes more sense as that is who she made herself, like the others they quickly adapted to being Ninja and that being who they were, while Nya had to "give up" being Samurai X but soon found herself as a Ninja. The Kai Golden Dragon form looks the best, and so does Golden Dragon Armor Wu. All were great customizations.
I prefer Wu with his S11 cape
When displaying them with their dragon form heads, you could use the water form (NOT NRG) head for nya!

The crystalized hoods definitely make them look better, I loved the change!
definitely doing the legacy hoods, although removing the R in the ninjago language. and the samurai X helmet looks wonderful too cannot wait to do that as well. great video mind!

maybe for a part 3 you could experiment with different heads like try swapping them for the different faces lego has made for each ninja over the years. Particularly the NRG and Airjitzu ninja those faces might look really good through the golden masks or mixed with the golden dragon armor ninjas from the new crystallized sets

Honestly, my only grievance with the official figures is that Nya does not use the Scuba mask, which breaks the line-up.

I agree with you on everything, but it will be hard to get all these characters with these details because of the price of the new season crystallized steps are so expensive

You could use Nyas ocean form minifigure head to fit in with the other ninjas energy burst heads
I mean I liked the way they took specific suits from the newer waves, but these look more streamlined and 1000 times better than what we got.

instead of ten years of Ninjago on the pedestals, you could put the elemental symbol tiles that came in the sog spinjitzu masters series and keep the ten years of Ninjago tile on wu's pedestal

If you made the vid after the second wave of core you could get the golden Lloyd hood from that wave and put it on golden Lloyd as the headband is green which fits better as the suit in bright green not dark green
I currently have my golden figures displayed with their SOTFS armor and Island mask and headband combos

I think you should try all six main ninja with their airjitzu heads.

Just want to mention in the series nya had a golden three headed spear (not trident technically since there is a different mold) but u went with seabound spear gun?! Instead of a golden kunai attached to a connector piece and the dragon hilt piece like the legacy scythe of quakes but with a sai head

Do you Know any good (Mult Part) Zane Weapons that can use the Dragon Hilt?
The only thing that came to my mind is the Star Hammer
The way I’m displaying mine is using the legs and torso from the original minifig, the season 11 armor piece in gold then their head and normal hair (I would have used the headband hair but I don’t have any spare ones and I am not a big fan of nyas headband piece) I also used a normal wu beard and head, and gave him his hat in gold. I also gave each of the og ninja their legacy golden weapon, for Lloyd I gave him his sword from season 11, and for Nya I gave her a custom design trident, and for wu I gave him his staff
For Kai,Jay,Zane and Lloyd you could use there forbidden spinjiztu faces in the spinjitzu slam sets
You could take an extra jay hood and use it on nya
I don’t like the elemental bursts ones but for all of the ninja to have it, maybe nya can you the face from seabound?
I hope you do a part 3. Because the dragons rising sets came out and you could try to do them for part 3.

My ideal display could be:
Golden Resistance Masks and Dragon form heads for The OG 4
Core Spinner Head, Dragon Ninja Armor (no Wings) and Oni Mask for Lloyd
Sam X Helmet, Dragon Ninja Armor (no Wings) and Ocean form Head for Nya
Dragon Armor and Sword for Wu

You could have used nrg nya head when you gave the ninja the Elemental heads
How would we get a part 3? Mabye make them like the Star Wars 20 anniversary figures and desgin them “classic” style
When you have their dragon form heads you could use the NRG but not actually NRG nya head
looks like a part 3 might be possible, because in 2023, the core lloyd in the $20 mech duel set has a gold hood with a green band, not dark green.
I think you could give them season specific weapons the Kai and Zane could fs staffs jay could have keytana and Cole could have the blades of deliveres. You could give nya her water powers that came with her energy form idk about Lloyd also you can maybe give wu the dragon blade

You could of used nyas sea bound water face as well with the dragon ninjas
nrg nya would work for the nya; she's naturally going to be a little different from the rest of the team with wojira and all

For me the best of these ( not cytralized parts ) is zane
Golden dragon Kai is cool
for lloyd in the crystallised in episoded brave but foolish he has the same hood as crystallised golden cole so use coles hood
Guys help me, Im going to be buying the Samurai X Mech, Jays Motorbike, Zanes Jet, and Coles Cruiser. But I can still buy one more set and have the option of getting the Crystal King Temple or Kai's Golden Dragon Raider. I need help deciding which one because the Temple has the crystal king and has amazing mini-figures but not a great build. On the other hand Kai's Raider has good mini-figures and a good build but a terrible price. What should I do?
It ultimately comes down to whether you prioritize budget or build. I personally prefer the former, so Dragon Raider
For me I think the torsos are really good but the hoods need fixing
Imo:
Kai - Forbidden spinjitzu hood
Jay - perfect how it is
Cole - perfect how it is
Lloyd - normal FS hood
Nya - seabiund helmet
Zane - bandana
a teen golden Wu can look cool
If u have the faces from airjitsu things
Another way would be to only use the "normal" aka movie hair pieces and be done with it. I actually like to see their faces and hair, gives them a lot more personality.

also ninja aren’t ninja without masks so if you do do that, might want to use half masks
