@oniseb yes its working but if you want to use it dont pair it with the mobapad m6 hd/s instead pair it as joycon. And you will have budget lenovo legion go👍
Yesterday I received the Mobapads M6 HD and I can say that they are the joycons that Nintendo should have created since the beginning of the console. They are really comfortable, it is a pleasure to press the dpad, the HD vibration really is like the original joy cons. The analogues are very smooth without a dead zone. The iOS app is in English and can create multiple configuration profiles for each game, including one for TOK and Monster Hunter. The L and R buttons have a small gap when pressed compared to the previous M6. However, in the previous ones, having so much sensitivity sometimes put pressure on them involuntarily. Additionally, I bought Lenovo thinkplus GM2 Pro headphones and in gaming mode there are no sound lags, recommended for those interested.
I got mine after the first video on these, had em about a week now, and I LOVE THEM. By far the best joy con I've ever used, I am only disappointed I just got them at the end of the Switch lifecycle LOL
Thank you for answering our questions! I purchased the Mobapad HDs and absolutely love them. Here's another tip. To clear the back paddles' default L/R shoulder button assignments: Hold down a macro button until it lights up, then tap the corresponding paddle. Do this for both sides. Done! No more stray L & R presses (unless you want to program them again). I saw you do this in your QRD Stellar T3 review and was pleased to see it work with these controllers as well :)
Seriously the M6 HD joycons are so nice. I have larger hands and have tried a few different joycon replacements. These are hands down so comfortable and feel so premium when playing in handheld. Thanks for the videos and reviews of these!

Thank you, there are some great answers here! I still have two more: 1. Where can you get replacement joystick heads? Like you said, you can always change them, but I haven't seen any way to get more... 2. I have random LinYuvo joycons with mechanical buttons where you can hear the click BEFORE the button is actuated. It happens when you press the button too lightly. I hope this kind of misinput does not happen with these? I feel that the button should always actuate with or before the click, not after.

@@piotr78 Unfortunately, it seems you cannot get replacement heads anywhere. I tried searching for hours. The only way I can see is to contact Mobapad directly, but I didn't try that one. I loved these so much I bought a 2nd pair for my soon incoming modchipped Splatoon 3 Switch OLED. And I ordered M6 S just to have colored faceplates and yellow d-pads to swap with.

I had mine for about a month before they started drifting ever so slightly. No big deal, increased the dead zone. But then it started drifting up and to the left. Like hard. Spinning my character in place. Jiggle the joystick and it goes back to normal. It’s now 3 months later and I get about 85% movement from up down left and right. My diagonals show full movement, but moving my stick directly up, down, left, or right all the way, shows only about 85%. Pretty good for joycons. But definitely room for improvement.
I thought as "hall effect" joysticks there wasnt supposed to be any drift? Was there any way to fix them or is it still an issue? This is the only time ive heard of these having the issue and now im debating on them 😅
People who have these joy-cons on the Switch OLED, a question: Do they fit well in the console's rails, or do they feel "wobbly"? I bought a LinYuvo and had to return it because the fit was loose, unlike the original joy-cons that fit like a single piece. Thanks a lot!
This will depend massively on where you live. I live in the UK and placed my order for M6 HD and case on 28th Jan and just received them today 2nd Feb. This was ordered through the Mobapad store.
mobapad m6 hd appears to lose battery charge when the Nintendo Switch is set to sleep mode and then put in the official dock. Guess its not charging when the switch is in sleep mode and docked.
I disassembled official joycon charge grip down to middle slab and use that as a Pro Controller grip. But if you're charging from an outlet while using other joycon in handheld it'll constantly disconnect because charging ones keep trying to connect. Just FYI
They both use mechanical switches as far as I know, the S just uses an unknown brand whereas the HD use Omron. Either way you're getting clicky. If you want non-clicky I would say go with either the Nitro Deck or the Nyxi Hyperion Pro
Dumb question but what is the main difference between the two besides rumble and omron switches. Also, how much different are the switches anything noticeable?
A very good and detailed review! Please tell me the length of the entire console with the attached mobapads? I have a Hori Adventure Pack bag and I can't figure out if it will fit or not. Thanks!
I've purchased the Mobapad HD controller because of your review and ever since, I will never go back to any other controller. The mouse style click is a game changer for me. I have a nyxi controller/nori (best buy) and they don't compare at all. I still want to try the hyperion pro for the color and center piece but the HD is superior! I might get a second controller 🤙🏾. Cheers
As someone who used to have the Hyperion Pro and returned them and now owns the M6. Don’t bother with the Hyperion lol there’s no comparison. Hyperion is like a cheap dollar store knockoff
Where can we get the app for the Mobapads M6. I love mine and honestly will be returning my CRKD. You were and are 100% correct about your review for these amazing controllers for the switch. You all need to click his link, get yourself a pair and enjoy it. The HD Rumble is amazing and the comfort is what Nintendo should of made originally.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned is there any discernible difference in the quality and level of noise the mechanical buttons on the M6S make compared to the HD? I know the switches are different, but is one more loud/clicky than the other?
Got my Mobapad M6 HDs two days ago. Great except for one problem-the ALPS Linear motors (for vibration) come on at random and oftentimes won’t shut off until I shut off the console (it may just be the right controller but seemed like both a couple times). I’m emailing Mobapad back and forth trying to explain what’s going on and not having much luck at the moment. Hopefully, I’ll get it resolved. I’ll update this when I have some sort of resolution to the problem.
Did you download the app and update the firmware? My rumble would randomly do 1x vibrate and now and then when the switch was off, after updating the firmware it stopped! Keep us updated and good luck!
Yeah. I have the iOS app (v1.3.1) and it’s says my controllers are using the current version of the firmware (v1.14) and that no firmware update is available. Unless the iOS app doesn’t work properly and can’t fetch new firmware.

M6 HD using NYXI grip, How does it feel in hand? Does it feel tight? Is the control better gripped using the normal size of the joycon grip? Thanks for your responses
Im looking for a set of joycons with a dpad for fighting games for handheld gaming. Its extremely important that im able to 'roll' on the dpad. Rolling is going from one input to another in one motion. Something original joycons cant do because the buttons are separate and too far apart. People that play fighters will understand what i mean. Can you roll on these dpads? Can you pull a hadouken for example? Also can you use nyxi stick replacements? PS4 compatible?
@Jrstrdr I have some now and can confirm that although it is possible to input moves using the dpad, it certainly isn't ideal and couldn't be used other than casually. Each input on the dpad is still a click and doesn't roll. The dpad is made well enough though that a hadouken will register, just not everytime. Ultimately, where there's no denying that these are the best joycons on the market, you're still better off using a separate controller altogether for fighting games.
From what I have read the app allows for cross macro/remapping of the buttons. I don't have mine yet so I can not test it. What thumb sticks fit or do you have to buy more mobapad sticks?
I tried in the app to see if I could map something from the right joycon to the left back button but no go so as far as I can tell it's just left button to the left controller and rights to the right.
How’s the stick tension? I prefer firmer sticks compared to loose or sloppy ones. I’m really interested in these for smash bros. Have you had any experience with input delay compared to the standard joycons?
Ever so slightly looser than the official Pro Controller. The shoulder buttons are a huge disappointment though, especially the awkward sharp ended flat shaped L2 & R2 triggers, while L1 & R1 are on the mushy side. The controller is extremely annoying too since it sounds like a symphony of mouse clicks, especially when a game makes use of the D-pad. I couldn't stand it. How hard is it just replicate the official Pro controller, slice it in half and make it work in handheld mode? The Moba 6 HD's just don't cut the mustard in my eyes. In most ways they're a step up from the Joy-con's, but intrusive mouse clicks firing at all cylinders, crummy shoulder buttons and even the slightly mushy B,A,X,Y buttons are all a step down for me. Joy-cons have lousy shoulder buttons too mind you ;)
Not sure if this is me just being stupid but received mine today and can't seem to assign face buttons on the right controller to the back button on the left controller. Tried the app and it only lets you remap one controller at a time rather than both as a pair. Update: Figured it out. In order to do this you have to use the app and set the back button as a macro. For example to set B to the left rear button you have to create a macro of press B 100ms release B.
@Kirkyboi07 still don't have an answer and not about to order but doubt it. Binbok/doyoky make a slim version thoigh that (again can't confirm) but appears to. About the wirh of the hori split compact

I have OIVO Carry Case and I'm anxious if it will fit on that case
Im looking for a set of joycons with a dpad for fighting games for handheld gaming. Its extremely important that im able to 'roll' on the dpad. Rolling is going from one input to another in one motion. Something original joycons cant do because the buttons are separate and too far apart. People that play fighters will understand what i mean. Can you roll on these dpads? Can you pull a hadouken for example?
Also can you use nyxi stick replacements?
PS4 compatible?
I was curious about this also. I saw someone else playing fighting games using these joy cons and it seems to work.
Any vendors for mobapad m6S panels? not much on the official website
Loved this review Q&A!
What bag you think good for M6s?
Question:
In what case will the Switch with these attached fit?
Late to the game on this, but is it possible to switch the X & Y, and A& B buttons to look like an Xbox controller?
Then remap the buttons to match?
Can the mobapad H6HD fit into Tomtoc Arcoss Switch/Steam Carry bag?
What carry cases work with these? Or do you just order the one from mobapad when it comes back into stock?
There's a bundle that comes with a case. It's cost like 20 bucks more
Can the joysticks be replace to the gulikit King Kong thumbstick kit? If not, can you recommend me some products like the replacement kit
I have these but when I charge my switch they start rumbling and won’t stop?
Can M6HD fit into tomtoc's seitch/steam carry bag?
Do you work for them?
Can you put these on a joy-con connector or whatever the middle piece is called to use it in docked mode like a controller?
If you make it fit, yes! (Use a saw on original Nintendos or use the Nixy one or wait)
Do both dpads feel the same?
Fix USB docking issue with a multi port usb on back port of switch.
Do you have any links for alliexpress?
Joy-cons have lousy shoulder buttons too mind you ;)
I ordered these not knowing if the app can be side-loaded on Apple. 😬
Do these work on the original 2nd gen switch.
Who fully turns off the Switch? Me every single time I stop playing
Can u do an comperosion for the mobapad m6 and hori split pad compact. I wish to know the size diferences! TY!
I have! It's going live this Friday :) stay tuned
Not sure if this is me just being stupid but received mine today and can't seem to assign face buttons on the right controller to the back button on the left controller. Tried the app and it only lets you remap one controller at a time rather than both as a pair.
Update:
Figured it out. In order to do this you have to use the app and set the back button as a macro. For example to set B to the left rear button you have to create a macro of press B 100ms release B.
You can't assign buttons from the opposite side joycon
@@PJNyte You can I figured it out, read the rest of my comment.
anyone know which buttons will fit these? i would get them but i want to do a button swap
will it fit comfortably in the skull&co max carry case?
Did it fit ?
@Kirkyboi07 still don't have an answer and not about to order but doubt it. Binbok/doyoky make a slim version thoigh that (again can't confirm) but appears to. About the wirh of the hori split compact
Can the Nintendo Switch OLED stand by itself (using the build-in Kickstand) while the MOBAPAD M6 HD is attached?
Just tested mine and the OLED kickstand works fine.
Thanks@@rossserpant5827
Do they have the full functionality of regular Joy-Cons?
Late reply, but the M6 HD does!
the M6S has rumble, though its regular rumble rather than HD rumble
If the HD has omron mechanical switches, what does the 6s have? And what's the difference?
If you watch one of his reviews, they're just unknown mechanical switches in the 6S
They are dockable with OLED as well?
Yes
Thanks for the answers!❤
I love these joycons. They replaced my nitrodeck 😂 i hope they will be compatible with the next switch or i hope they make something for the switch 2 early in its life cycle
How do you update I keep getting “update failure prompt”
Did anyone think it was worth upgrading to these from the satisfye zen grip?
Hey so i loved my m6HD's, updated the firmware to the latest 1.48 via the iOS app and now they are bricks. No device recognizes them. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What case r u using after applying these controllers my switch no longer fits n its case
can you detach the analog stick?
Thank you for your video. Does anyone know if there is a charging center piece (or Joy-Con charging grip) that can also transfer data? I have the MobadPad HD, and I would like to connect it to my PC via a USB cable. (I am aware that I can connect them via Bluetooth, but I'm curious if there is any Joy-Con to USB wired adapter available.)
Yeah it does work with the Nyxi centre piece you can see at 2:20
@@128KB Thanks for your quick reply. Does the Nyxi centre piece allows you to use the joycons in a pc via usb ? (Imagine I do not have Bluetooth on my computer)
Does mobapad m6 hd has better rumble than Gulikit kk3 max? I have Gulikit kk3 max and I don't much like the rumble
