I've actually recently seen the new fairly oddparents series a new wish
Mainly because I recently got back into fairly oddparents after a small fallout early in the summer
A new wish is pretty good
It's not going to replace the original fairly oddparents but it also did things that are better than the original series
Mainly with poof or peri (even though I am not a huge fan of the voice given for peri, I get it, it's a refference to how cosmo originally sounded like in the oh yeah shorts, but I feel like a combo of that and the series cosmo would fit peri more, I can see Brian drummond (streaky from krypto the superdog) pull it off)
I like hazel as a character overall, although I feel like her getting cosmo and Wanda felt unearned
Mainly because the show didn't really do a good job at exploring her struggles with the new school (something my gym partners a monkey and wayside did right)
There were some episodes that got it right, but for the most part The problems were solved right away
I do like that they kind of touched upon hazel's insecurities (even if I feel harvey beaks did a better job at that)
Also some episodes felt directionless
But what makes the show work is the character dynamics, and the worldbuilding (something the original also does well)
The dynamics of hazel, her friends, her parents, cosmo and Wanda, and dev are entertaining to see
I also like how dev is the main villain as the series went on Mainly because if his dad not being there for him
Overall a new wish pretty good
While there are plenty of janks it didn't lose sight on what made fairly oddparents work so well
It's not going to replace the original show but I do reccomend it (even if I feel ideas were handled better in other shows, mgpam, harvey beaks, even the original fairly oddparents had moments that were handled better Mainly seasons 1-6)

Nice that Demi Moore got a good role then. 🙂 I have checked spoilers for this film so it's definitely not for me. 😄 I avoid horror in general, and I know I would not enjoy this film with all the gore. Thanks for the review.😊
