Quite informative video. I used to work in those areas of Turkana in 2018. The section between Lodwar and Lokichar was tough but the Hilux could hear nothing of it

I have driven cars that have such acceleration issues. What I end up doing is planning for my overtakes beforehand, allowing a gap between me and the car infront. Then I accelerate a few seconds before the road is clear. That way, I have good acceleration by the time I switch lanes.
Not too much of a deal breaker if it comes at that price brand new. Waiting for part 2.

You are talking of bad roads in Lodwar and thats what we break our KYBs with here in Nairobi estates bana, those rodes are smoother in comparison to the stoned gravel mud pothole streets we do here in Kanairo bana. The ground clearance is awesome for our f****d up bumps.
If they got a CVT (the manual would work best) on it then you would not need to wait too long to downshift to first gear.

Yes, that's why we put the subtitles. The rough roads messed up with our audio recording equipment and created a lot of background noise which we tried to remove in the editing suite and the result was the gargling. Thanks for pointing it out :-)
