Congrats again, but personally I’d like to see you tracking with a camera man behind you. That way we actually get to see the live buck getting shot. No matter, nice job getting another nice buck.
Great Buck Great Rifle 760 Great cartridge. I was stationed at Brunswick NAS Marine barracks from 1979 to 1981 . I only hunted 1980 one time . I shot a huge Whitetail Doe with a Winchester model 94 30/30 . I bought this rifle at Cooks Conner Pawn Shop. This brings back good memories.
fantastic! Great Job. I wish I could hunt like I used to, meniscus tears in both knees and bad back, hope to be as mobile as I can this season. No surgery for me at least as long as I can hold out.
Thats 1 hell of a beautiful buck Hal!!! I really enjoy all Ur videos they are done really well! I also like Ur demeanor as a person, so thanx for makin me feel like I'm on the hunt with you always!
He's a True Tracking Legend,, and shoots,, second to none.,, A Remington Pump,, is Hal's Favorite gun .It's a 7600 , straight shootin" machine. And it's taken more Bucks, than alot of people have seen. 😉 👍 (Thank you Hal, for allowing us the privilege to tag along with you on yr journey through the Deep Big Woods of Maine,, in search of that "BIG BUCK" n the real art n perseverance in Tracking BIG Whitetail and how it pays off 👍....THANK YOU for keeping the sport.of Tracking n hunting alive.
That’s a nice buck Hal. Love to watch the tracking videos. Not easy to do here on the East coast as you usually end up pushing the deer to another hunter.
Nice buck. We get big bodied deer up here in northern Ontario like that. Relatively new Hunter, and this is my preferred style of hunting. I have learned a ton from your videos. Thanks, Hal.
hal, don't really ever comment on this stuff but I hunt hard an I'll tell ya I love your videos.... no bs, nice to c a hard hunting individual ., I respect u an what u do.. congratulations
Beautiful Maine buck. Way to figure him AND the other guy who had been on him out . Everyone wants Jeff Doyle quality action filming these days. The standard is high but this is still great. Thanks for sharing.
Really enjoy watching these videos! Growing up in southwest PA, I always wanted to hunt deer this way, but we never had enough snow and the amount of hunters afield it was impossible! I would love to see you put a camera on your shoulder to get the stalk up shooting shot!!! Keep up the good work!!!
Hal you are one hell of a Woodsman Mr.and a great woods Teacher from the word go Period!! Too all this fall good luck in the woods 🦌 🐻 The Vermonter BS
C🎉ngrats Hal.A tip about camera. You said you were kinda afraid to turn the camera on and talk about this deer, please, next time, can you turn it on,without speaking to us,film it,and while editing, do a voice over explaining said deer.Just an idea sir.I dont know if it will work, but maybe
I hope to hunt a deer like that someday soon. I went on a guided deer hunt in Alberta years ago, 8 hunters in camp and nobody shot a deer. Most expensive camping trip in a lodge I ever went on . Never again. I would have been happy shooting ANY deer on my own walking through the woods. I shot a doe in high school running up a coulee in ND and I fired with a 222 Remington just as she went out of site as she leaped and cleared the hill above me. I climbed up out of there and found her dead in the wheat field on top. Lucky shot 🤞
Way too much talking about what happened and not enough showing of what happened. Personally I would much rather I have your camera going as you’re walking through the woods rather than describing walking through the woods. Hoping this constructive feedback helps.

Cameraman-filmed video coming soon!

You guys spend all this time taping, editing etc, and shoot a dandy buck, and never include the weight..Why?
