In our part of UP there is a song "Mehlon sa raja mila hariyali banni raj karegi". Nobody says it is wrong. In a world where we are talking about equality of sexes, both parties in a marriage should bring equal stake at the table.
If dowry is wrong so is tendency of girl and her family to have a husband who has more prosperity than the girl is worthy of. WHy should she get it?
People should not marry above their level. In any case in most marriages nowadays, girls start threatening the husband and his family and file fake cases. If asking for dowry is wrong then so is the practice of filing fake 498A, dowry and domestic violence cases to extort a fat alimony and maintenance. They also get 50% of husbands self earned property, ancestral property and residency rights to in-laws home whom they torture. Once the marriage is over, even Indian courts say "Patni pati ki jimmedari hai". Tab to koi nahi bolta ki galat hai. Many husbands who cannot feed this extortion racket end up committing suicide every 8 min. A Hindu wife is more like a potential gender terrorist for husband and his entire family.
Unless both sides bring equal moolah to the table marriage is not a workable preposition and results in looting of husband and his family.

I am a girl,since a month or so i was preparing myself for a quiz competition. i was so scared that i would not be able to do it
I am in my 12th standard
And i was competing with college and University level students
I secured the 1st position in the Valley
And today was my felicitation
And do you know what today when I came back home
My family members were so angry,rude and all with me just because i was a bit late
They even said why do you have to go to Universities while you are still in high school
And now while crying ,i was listening to this ,it helped me a lot and i am amazed by how much social media can help us in tough times
But really today i am able to understand why aglay janam mohay bitya na kijiyo song was ever written and released😢

Yes,sis I am also a girl and I can you understand your pain how does it feels when people ignore you achievement this hase happened with me too. My elder sister sent this to me yesterday but now im coming back here again and again. It's like a reminder to give some time and love to yourself.
I love my elder sister(cousin) so much. But I respect her more. She is the biggest inspiration for me atm. Whenever I feel sad or demotivated, just thinking about hard work and the efforts she does fuels me up. I hope our bond remains the same for ages.

I have a few things to say you. Who knows at which point of life it works? Every day someone will come with a new story, telling you a new thing. Shhh... You are a girl! Don't laugh so loudly. Going out, do makeup atleast a little. Uff... Don't upload so many photos daily. Don't make friendship with so many boys. When you (as a girl) will dream, many questions will arise. If someone will open the door of his car for you, then someone will close the door of his heart. But listen girl, whatever people say to you, ignore them and listen to your heart. Sometimes it may seem that all the allegations of the world are true, still you will choose your dreams. You are neither weak nor queen, you are fairy of the heaven. Make your own principles. The world is there to raise finger against you. In each and every turns they will be back with hundreds of queries and questions. But you never let your hope to disbalance. Yes! one more thing, don't think love to be your weakness. Instead, that is your biggest strength. Love everyone fully but save some love for your ownself also. Don't hesitate to ask and don't fear to establish your truth. Open your mind, laugh to your heart's content but at first listen to you. You are neither weak nor queen, you are fairy of the heaven.

तुम उसके जिस्म को अपनी आंखों में कैद करना छोड़ दों,
तुम उसे सिर्फ एक खिलौना समझना छोड़ दों,
हर वक्त उसे अपनी ख़रीदीं काम की चीज की तरह प्रयोग करना छोड़ दों,
तों शायद उसकी जिंदगी आसान हो जाएगी।
तुम "का" और "की" का फर्क करना भुल जाओ ,
तुम उसके अस्तित्व के साथ खेल खेलना छोड़ दों,
तुम उसे एक "चीज़" बोलना छोड़ दों,
तों शायद उसकी जिंदगी आसान हो जाएगी।
तुम उसे चुप कराना छोड़ दों,

They also get 50% of husbands self earned property, ancestral property and residency rights to in-laws home whom they torture. Once the marriage is over, even Indian courts say "Patni pati ki jimmedari hai". Tab to koi nahi bolta ki galat hai. Many husbands who cannot feed this extortion racket end up committing suicide every 8 min. A Hindu wife is more like a potential gender terrorist for husband and his entire family.
Unless both sides bring equal moolah to the table marriage is not a workable preposition and results in looting of husband and his family.
Marriage has become an unsustainable social norm. Most people in USA, Canada, Japan, China DO NOT MARRY. Time to destroy Hindu marriage also. #MarriageStrike

My great grandmother was a freedom fighter many females in my family were in defence... And some girls could be strong some could be fragile and some could be emotional and sensitive too... Women are physically weak than men but it doesn't mean u will make those girls feel like they are not worthy of being called strong...Btw back then many families also some army officers used to refuse girls to inroll women in defence but now things have changed.. There will be more represention of women in defence... And every girl doesn't deserve to be in army some girls are sensitive emotional u can't expect them to be in defence right they might be good at other jobs right? Ever heard of the news where a muslim woman fought with hamas? But u will not appreciate it but when it comes to women empowerment u will start bringing arguments and try to downgrade women...One day have an open conversation with a woman...Be it sister mother or a female friend if u have one...
