There are few of them that can play by ear or play outside of a music score………the funny thing is some of the peeps on that list can read music from a score, practice it and play it with time (the speed and accuracy however can’t be compared to that of a muson pianist) but they will sight read, study and eventually play….but how many muson peeps can function properly in the contemporary space, how many can effectively score by ear???how many can improvise??? I’ve had really talented muson guys ask me how I’m able to play by ear and improvise. There’s a knowledge gap on both ends and the goal should be to bridge the gap…don’t come and discredit these talents because they aren’t “inquote” muson guys..
