Hi guys, I have a question for Mdu. Im doing a Maths and Stats Degree with Unisa how do I pivot into Actuarial science because Unisa doesn't offer Actuarial science. I had to go to Unisa because of funds.
In the meantime, assuming that you are still doing your undergraduate degree, try applying for the Actuarial Interest Group. The ASSA Interest Group allows you access to information about the profession and opportunities to attend events opening opportunities for networking and insight into an actuarial career.
So actuaries can work as investment banker ....an I'm planning to do Postgraduate diploma in financev, investment and banking after Bcom accounting im dodging CTA😂....... i hope there are opportunities for investment banking or finance
Don’t do that. Do CTA , the best people for investment banking are CAs , especially because banks values CAs more. Do you CTA and then do your articles with a bank then you will have all your dreams.

Yeah you can repeat a year. I didn’t continue because I felt that I won’t graduate because my time with NSFAS was coming to an end.
