    Hi Alfredo, it's Wes Sept here, I'm having trouble learning something. This is it, what is the benefit of " female hubs"? Wouldn't they be weaker? I'm sure it's straight forward, but I don't understand it! Anyways, thank you in advance, and your knowledge is going towards a life long BMXer. As of this year I've been BMXing for 44 years, I'm Canadian, and don't let snow, and ice prevent me from riding! I've got incredible balance! Thanks Dude, Wes Sept

      Alfredo Mancuso Alfredo Mancuso Alf help me out man!!! I bought the same type of husky pipe cutter, a bit smaller version though. I've went through 4 blades and I've been tightening after every 10 spins? The blades are STILL dulling incredibly quick and I haven't even cut one side of my handlebars man. I'm confused, do you have a stronger special blade? I've got the stranger brooks 4 piece bars homie, give me any suggestions. Thanks alf

      @Tony Tony well, the red hot particles are there and I think a very small part of the metal actually gets annealed a little bit. That's at the very end of the bars, so not a serious concern, but it does happen in my opinion.

    Every time I will buy a new bmx I always saw my handle bar. I do not want it wide. To people who criticize make the bar less wide it is up to the owners liking. Wider Handle bar, when you do a bar spin it hits your knee, stomach or hands some times. Have a less wide handle bar is better for me. No need to criticize someone it depends on what you like.

  • @billmalavetas388
    @billmalavetas388 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    So if I'm not wrong....after the first two spins you have to tighten the cutter a bit ......and do you have to tighten it in every two spins ?? Or you just continue spinning until it's cut all the way??

    • @AlfredoMancuso
      @AlfredoMancuso  8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have a question why do you cut your bars? To help with spinning bars right? Cause I'm learning barspins and my bars are not cut I also run brakes so would cutting the bars make them easier (like throwing and catching them) or does it just make it so when you throw the bars you don't hit your knees with them as they come around as often?

    • @Dxnniis
      @Dxnniis 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pretty much it's so when you throw them they don't hit your knee or whatever.

    • @bmxriderforlife1234
      @bmxriderforlife1234 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      doesnt actually matter if your in the tucked position or proper position for throwing bars they shouldnt hit your knees unless you like on a 20.5 frame with 30 inch wide bars.

    What do you do to prevent the cut from start rusting? Also if the bars have chromium on, what do you do to protect the unprotected chromoly?

    • @RoCkShaDoWWaLkEr
      @RoCkShaDoWWaLkEr 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My Diamond Back 98' Venom X was full chromoly frame and bars, I never had any issues from rust after cutting my bars with a pipe cutter. Just my experience, I also live in BC, Canada where it's quite moist so I'd think rust would come pretty quick, if it was going to happen.

      how tall are you, or do you know your arm length, if you have long arms 31" bars would not be a good decision.
