I bought this and the book and I encourage everyone to do the same. It is truly brilliant, and if you are a fan of the scene, you'll be well chuffed. It's such a great tribute but also a terrific view into a world long gone, it seems.
Jackie was my mother's best friend growing up. She has told me so many stories about him. They even lived together at one point on Sullivan St. I was thrilled to watch this movie with my mother and grandmother when it screened at the Film Forum many years ago; they have both passed since. They loved the film, said it brought back many memories of Jackie.

Modern trans cult has become a misogynist, homophobic, regressive movement that actively harms women, gay people and children. Jackie and others would neither have predicted or approved of the bullshit that thrives today under a bogus banner of 'kindness and inclusivity'.

I hope Craig will consider uploading his brilliant film to TH-cam, so people can see what REAL diversity means. Sadly the trans movement has been highjacked by frauds with misogynist, homophobic and anti child-safeguarding agendas. Jackie represented a more authentic time and genuinely inclusive time, when self expression was understood and celebrated.
This can't be true. Republicans told me that such people didn't exist until recently as the result of grooming by teachers in classrooms with rainbow flags. I've been duped!
