I tend to like those triple-mower setup, as long as one can mow way early in spring/summer. As soon as time makes it impossible and mow-time becomes "dust-time", all the rads becomes clogged-up etc. I would rather have this on a reversible tractor along with a dust-cleaner setup like we see on any self-propelled mower/swapper. (anyhow, yes one has to clean the rads whenever oil gets there, but dust-cleaning rigs on radiators should be standard on all tractor and that should have become a standard 40yrs ago. And reversible-tractor should be standard as of 15yrs ago by now on all tractors, way before this "satellite-self-driving-sH1tes" that they are handing out --forcing us-- to buy) You all know I'm right on this ;) About reversible-tractors: Way many JD lovers have been put "against-the-wall" and almost forced to buy Fendt/Claas/Valtra, and bought them, only because they need that feature for their needs. I'm not a JD fan. But, how not can JD respond to that demand? (maybe then I would be attracted to JD.... but I have no time to waste on switching simple hydro-couplers ..... for any jobs that is.... which in the end makes a $1/4million tractor a useless relic in the parking lot) SadButTrue ;)
Depends on crop, also if and what kind of conditioners you have on the triple combination. My 7280R runs a 33 ft. Krone combination with roller conditioners. It has enough power to go as fast as I can without beating up the cutterbars on rough fields.
štefan triller we are trying triple cropping fall OATS/TRIT mix harvest in fall cut high! Then cut again in spring trit. Then to corn and then repeat!!
Josh Cage to cut trticale twice? Does it even grow? We plant italian and westerwold ryegrass in fall we cut it twice in spring around 20 april and second cut about 4 to 5 weeks later depens on the weather and second cut are mostly the same or bigger the we plant corn about 300 FAO then it comes to late autum about mid october we silage maize the plant triticale and cut it about 20april next year and corn again so we silage it in mid september then we plant ryegraas again or 2year mixes of ryegrass and red clover
štefan triller Our hopes is the oats and triticale mix we cut in mid-November is the oats will obviously die in the winter but we cut it very high in thinking the triticale in the mix will regrow..and apply liquid nitrogen in spring green up.

GHISLAIN LETOURNEAU never had an issue with radiator clogging over 1000s of acres a simple blower once in a wile is all that's needed

farmingwithmark yes no problem at all on grass and alfalfa. But hills and heavy crop start to slow things down..
farmingwithmark 7260r has a hard time sometimes but we do about 450 acres a day
