Nice unit. It's amazing the amount of work a tractor can do. No matter how much fuel costs, I never (hardly ever) complain about the expense because of the work that is done. I remember plowing all day on 15 acres and still having the ends to plow in the next day! People don't know how taxing it is to spend 12-16 hours bouncing around on a tractor... day after day, so anything Deere can do to make it more comfortable is appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving.

If you own this tractor good luck with it. we had one for 5 month and only got a good week of work from it. maybe ours was a lemon who knows.( ours was a 2012 - they say post 2015 models are a bit better) if you don't own it and are looking try, the 6r or 8r series

Happy Thanksgiving to you folks also, looks like a nice tractor. Too complicated for a simple guy like me.

There are some major differences between the command view 2 cab which is what u guys have compared to the command view 3 cab which is what we have. In general i love the 7r series tractors and i noticed u guys have the ivt. which we love. Great video!! keep them comming!!

I left the farm 35 years ago to join the military. Biggest tractor we had was a 4440 John Deere. Tractors sure look complicated these days. You have to take a course in computer programming I guess. LOL

We have a 7200R and 4440 I love the 4440 but man the 7200R is in my opinion the direct descendant of the 4440 and all around loader to tillage tractor

Just a tad bigger and a bit more horsepower than what I drove in late 40's and 50's.
For the price you pay now for that tractor you could buy at least 25 tractors back then LOL
Happy thanksgiving to everyone in the USA

Memory recall here, ... about 1954, $2,500 for a 45 hp Case 400. It had a four-cylinder, gasoline engine, and was able to pull 3-16" plow, 3.0 to 3.25mph. Two wheel drive, 540 live pto, 1 hydraulic remote, two ranges on a four speed transmission, for total of 8 speeds. G4 and G5 were primary field working gears, G1 and G2 were for field chopper. Implements (harrow, roller, etc) were about 11 ft wide, gang disk 9 ft wide. In 1952(?), a Cockshutt 40, 40 hp, about $2,000. First live PTO (near first on the market), one hydraulic remote (again, a first, but not very reliable), 13X38 tires, 6 speed transmission (G3 and G4 field gears). It sported a 6 cylinder Buda gasoline engine, that was a dream engine. Rare for a tractor to have an engine from a third party. Very few diesel engines in farm tractors at this point. Others, JD R, about 40-45 hp, 2 cylinder. I'll spare you the rest...

wow you remember lot's more than me as I was born in 1940 so I was a kid in those years so you must be older than I am thanks for your reply.

1941. I was deeply involved, drove both tractors as a young boy/man. We had some major expenses about this time, and the money was tight. That is why I remember the costs. I spent much time driving/working and recall so many details - scary! Prior to these tractors we had a Case LA, on steel, and a Case DC, on rubber. I weaned on the DC, tricycle front, steel seat. I followed the plow with harrow, roller, over very rough ground. I'm surprised I am still alive to think about it! The sound of the Buda, when under load, is something I will never forget.
