Krucial lets rather talk about how bad the book was. Titans are suposed to be celestials, not "planetsouls". Power of voidlords is lets say 100, sagras rekt titans but is afraid of vlords and is like 10? Old gods are somewhat weaker but strong. So how does the story make sense? A gnome warrior goes of killing gods and devils because he has an artifact? So are we players now a cosmic power? there is no balance to virtuallords or sargeras or corupted titans. Azeroth soul? Blizzard fucked it up when they put out the book. shallow story.
Blizzard better handle the encounters with the titans carefully. These are, after all, our CREATORS. They shape worlds, magic, life, and time- quite literally gods. I hope Blizzard doesnt pull a Diablo3 and simply make us powerhouses, because that seems to me pretty lazy.
It mentions their essence. They won't be very powerful, not like they used to be. They'll be slightly weaker than an old god at full strength I imagine. They can never full regain their strength, the same goes for Sargeras, he's not planet shatteringly op anymore. He got messed up during the war of the ancients. I'd like to think he's rejuvenating his body inside the TN. I hope in mythic burning throne we see him. Perhaps he has taken Argus's power (since the world is shattered open) and that's why Argus is weak enough to fight.
i think Aggramar is an avatar of aggramar who he used to try to save argus... but failed and was corrupted by sargeras. exactly like the fallen avatar of sargeras and argus may be not behind redemption... maybe we will help to create a new pantheon. Maybe argus or azeroth know how to implant a titan soul in world and implant one on draenor an even on the remain of outland.
P-o Tremblay I like this Aggramars avatar theory and I think maybe Blizzard is on that to but I don't think this is the cause. I think Aggramar just like you write tried to save Argus but failled and then Sargetas tortured him and broke his mind, and after we save Eonar she will help us to redem the titan ---> we kill it and then Eonar separet his soul from the corrupted body. This is my theory anyone who thinks this is bullshit write me I am corius to hear your ideas about Aggramar. :)
Perhaps the reason Bliz didnt put the fact that Argus had a world soul is because not only did they want to keep it hidden from us but lore wise Sargares would have wanted to keep this Titan hidden for as long as possible since he has killed/taken control of the pantheon.

Ian Hazzikostas says that the Aggramar we will fight in the raid is not actually the full in titan, otherwise he'd step on us like ants. His soul did escape, but a shell or avatar of sorts was corrupted by Sargeras. What you see in the raid is actually very similar to the Avatar of Sargeras we fought back at the tomb.
I could imagine Odyn and the keepers try and lead the charge on a part of Argus, and get mashed the hell up and the Titan essences extracted, so when we get back to Azeroth, with the keepers dead, the Old Gods are unleashed and we're onto the next expansion.
Would love to see a video on your thoughts regarding when you think we take on Sargeras and when we can finally put the burning legion behind us. I'm kind of getting tired of the whole demon thing, and was hoping to be done with it all this expansion, but idk if that will be the case after seeing the initial wave of 7.3 information.
I think we're gonna have an Ulduar-like type of raid, where we get the help of the Titans to try and destroy Argus the Unmaker, and in the end we're gonna have to go look for other resting Titan Souls across the universe to fight the Void Lords.
I had a thought that was fundamentally wrong but think about this: In the "Son of the Wolf" comic end we see Velen speaking to the High King about attacking. Now I thought that he only said High King but he did say High King Wrynn so my theory's wrong but what if the ship we see in those last couple of pictures was that small ship in which we travel to Argus? And the High King wasn't Anduin but Turalyon. The way this all would've played out could've been that we were victorious on Argus but that Azeroth's sittinng on a silver plate for Sargeras he takes the chance and cleaves the planet in two. The energy flowing out of the planet proves to kill him and we are tasked from now on to regain our planet. Azeroth's in many pieces and the new High King is Turalyon. Many souls died and the vision of Velen's short story proves to be correct as in the final battle Dragons, Humans, Orcs, all sorts of creatures attack this one last time. We get these forces of the great Dark and the remaining bits of Azeroth, maybe new lifeforms started to evolve after the destruction of the planet and the Naaru put us and many other heroes in a kind of Stasis until the time was right. Now that would be cool (in my head at least) but I see the problems with this story, the most important one that it's not even possible, or at least as long as they don't change the comic. That "Wrynn" in the comic really ruined it for me.
It's possible that Sargeras didn't discover the soul until long after the events of Chronicle vol 1. And that the Legion peons (aka Gan'arg) unearthed something while digging for resources like ore and stuff for weapons and other Legion armaments. Upon finding this they would have informed a higher up, and it would have basically gone up the chain all the way to Kil'jaeden and then finally to Sargeras himself. With the information Sargeras newly received he would then be able to task forces to construct buildings to feed the soul and bend it to his will. Just a thought. Chronicle vol 3 might cover it. Because the World Souls aren't incredibly easy to discover.
Eonar does have a model though, so does the others in the Pantheon. MMOChampion had screens of them I believe, so did Wowhead I think for Eonar & Aggramar atleast?

Maybe it was the felstorm that stripped the Titans of their bodies to splice them into a weapon, a process that would require a World Soul-esque gestation period in an environment of intense power i.e. planet Argus. Perhaps its purpose was to fight and kill Azeroth if she were to emerge, fight the Void, to act as Sargeras' successor, or as an indication of the Legion's power.
My theory is that Argus the Unmaker is Sargeras, however he is being corrupted by the voidlords. There is a world boss on Argus who's only job is to stop the burning legion and the forces of the light from entering the final raid. soo what could he be guarding?
or just maybe, Argus is Argus as in Argus the Unmaker is the world soul of Argus the planet that Sargeras has had thousands of years to tamper and play with?
I don't think we will be killing titans, maybe only Aggramar for dramatic story moment. Starting from Eonar we'll be helping to free/purify/heal titans spirits one after another until Aggramar ( because there are models for all of them ). Argus is a world soul of Argus, fully or partially corrupted. In battle with Argus titans ( spirits or new constructed/regenerated bodies ) may help us to destroy/purify him ( or we will help them ). And after that, with help of titans + some beings of the Light ( Naaru ), Sargeras will be destroyed/purified/imprisoned, because ending of this expansion very likely to be - "Army of the Light is almost complete. But old-new allpowerfull threat finally manifests through old gods or corrupted Azeroth". or Sargeras will be dumped into the Void and will become even more evil / or just dead. Speculation & IMO ofc. P.S.: Some beings of the Light could help titans to regenerate/etc.
Yes, we are. But fighting something in WoW doesn't always mean killing it. Quite often it's just another form of purification process / breaking shackles / clearing mind / etc. :)
If we actually have to fight Sargeras, they'll probably pull an ICC move on us where we all die and he tries to make us champions of the Burning Legion

Actually, it was never stated that the souls of the Titans from the Pantheon went to the Keepers on Azeroth, just that they went into their greatest servants. Only Aman'thul was confirmed to merge with an Azerothian Keeper, Ra.
do we know what the next chronicles book is gonna be about? could we possibly look at some much needed backstory on argus? I just hope the patch explains the insanity that is probably gonna happen here
All the pantheon Titans besides Aman'Thul have models on MMOChampion and wow-head. There is even a model for the Titan Argus while I also heard talk of Draenor's and Azeroth's Titan model showing up in datamined string files but no actual models just talk of their models
Don't you think that their heirlooms, like aegis of aggramar, hammer of Khaz'goroth etc have anything to do with it? By using them to seal the tomb, if they contained the titans essence, their essence could have been used to make those avatars we see.
I would have liked if Burning Throne was the mini raid between content patches, excluded the titan bosses and left the demon filth and Argus as last boss. Last raid of Legion featuring the titans and in whatever way we will fight Sargeras, though i have no opinion on how the Sargeras fight should be.
listening to what you just told. Maybe somewhere on Argus, we fight a really difficult foe, and suddenly something comes to help us out of nowhere, and this is Aggramar or Eonar. Then when they have revealed themselves, a big Legion commander attacks and captures them, transporting to the Raid. Though this is just a thought of mine, but it would be ultimately cool if it happens :D
Legion commanders are most of the time quite smart, especially when it is done with plans of Dreadlords... i don't have a really good answer to you...but it's just a hunch... i mean, the Titans are probably not gonna go over to Sargeras, and be like: "oh Mighty Sargeras, use me in the Raid to defend yourself against those pesky invaders"
What if during the argus questline we awaken Arguses world soul. and the dungeon is called the burning throne because its destroyed and burning after the world soul awakes..and the reasons its small is maybe because its a newborn titan so it has to grow before its the size of a full blown planet destroyer
I thought aggramar was killed before the Sargeras fought with the other titans. And i thought Eonar was the last titan spirit left not captured by sargeras, so i'm a bit confused why Eonar is there.
The raid is called throne of the legion, is it confirmed that argus is actually the endboss or have they maybe omitted the real last boss? Since raiding an empty throne would be a bit dissapointing, eventhought he bosses do sound amazing. is it even confirmed the last raid on a second not e:D
By looking at Argus from Azeroth there is a big hole going into Argus core, that could very well be the hole that Argus came out from so maybe that soul has already woken up
And well - Agrammar was consumed and killed by sargeras before Norgannon used his spell, and its entirely possible we will just be Escorting Freya to Eonar and allowing the Titan to be made whole again after remainder has been tortured for millenia... then well... we could go to hunt for where legion hid the other ones... we have the keepers to do it... even with Loken and those lost in Halls of Origination... there should still be plenty to house most of titan power

If Azeroth truly has a world soul, I feel like she will be the one to fight Sargeras. It just makes sense to me. The titans found something special in Azeroth, and so did the Void Lords- so much so the Titans and the Old Gods fought over it for centuries. Perhaps over time, Azeroth's world soul has been slowly maturing. When we obliterate Argus, Sargeras will probably have enough of our bullshit and come to destroy us. Of course, how could we fight him? He cleaved worlds in two! The only fair fight that would make sense is if Azeroth herself fought Sargeras alongside her heroes. I think it'd be interesting.
2 things that would make this patch realy bad for me 1. if the shackled ur'zul becomes the raids mount i will be dissapointed but its not too far off sadly since it has 3 color variants... 2. if blizzard doesnt make a hell hound mount ... i mean going back to the first point if we can get 3 color variants of a gryphon model in fleshy pink with 5 oddly awfully pleasured eredar faces melted onto it ontop of an extra mouth but we cant get a single color variant of the god damn best demon model ive ever seen then i dont know what to do
After Argus I think it's great to see if we fight Queen Azshara and N'Zoth next (With the Old Gods)...Still too with that new Broken model, do you think the Illidari Broken and Akama will be updated too? Really want to see the guy go back to his old homeworld and fight the Legion. I know he is on Outland if you pick Kayn, then the other he is with you. Legion ain't disappointing either...Really enjoying it so far. Just leveling my chars. I just level, and dungeons now, but I am doing older raids than the new ones...Just was too boring for me. Still too Argus is going to be something interesting...Can we finally stop the Burning Legion? Will Azeroth suffer from a planet being close to it? Will Queen Azshara and N'Zoth invade the planet while we are away on Argus? Many things can happen in this patch or onward... Really hope too that Legion will have a aftermath patch in which we finally get free of Legion, then the next pre-patch for the next expansion comes out.
Andrew Yeah could work with Queen Azshara and her Nazjatar Army, then we face N'Zoth with the other Old God's...Finally ending them...Well try too at least. Then we get either Ogres and Naga as a playable race then there will be more content too.

You need to check that Dungeon journal every Titan of the pantheon is in this raid.

It's more likely Argus will have a knock on effect. Something from Argus will reach Azeroth and free N'zoth from his prison.

There is a model or Eonar, as well as every other titan, whom u fight in the coven of shivara fight over on wowhead. They also have Argus's model
We will have to wait until more (and all) quests (and cinematics) are released.

Eonar's fight sounds pretty much like the green dragon healing fight in ICC
All the pantheon Titans besides Aman'Thul have models on MMOChampion and wow-head. There is even a model for the Titan Argus while I also heard talk of Draenor's and Azeroth's Titan model showing up in datamined string files but no actual models just talk of their models
Don't you think that their heirlooms, like aegis of aggramar, hammer of Khaz'goroth etc have anything to do with it? By using them to seal the tomb, if they contained the titans essence, their essence could have been used to make those avatars we see.
Makes me wonder if outlands world soul is an Evil Titan now as well... Draenor the Shattered.

I would have liked if Burning Throne was the mini raid between content patches, excluded the titan bosses and left the demon filth and Argus as last boss.
Last raid of Legion featuring the titans and in whatever way we will fight Sargeras, though i have no opinion on how the Sargeras fight should be.
I hope we Shamans will meet the Elements of Argus and help them or something. Maybe let our Lords and their meet, maybe even clash?
in mists they said even azeroth was a titan as the planet. so this could be the same for argus

Maybe somewhere on Argus, we fight a really difficult foe, and suddenly something comes to help us out of nowhere, and this is Aggramar or Eonar.
Then when they have revealed themselves, a big Legion commander attacks and captures them, transporting to the Raid.
Though this is just a thought of mine, but it would be ultimately cool if it happens :D

Legion commanders are most of the time quite smart, especially when it is done with plans of Dreadlords...
i don't have a really good answer to you...but it's just a hunch...
i mean, the Titans are probably not gonna go over to Sargeras, and be like: "oh Mighty Sargeras, use me in the Raid to defend yourself against those pesky invaders"
What if during the argus questline we awaken Arguses world soul. and the dungeon is called the burning throne because its destroyed and burning after the world soul awakes..and the reasons its small is maybe because its a newborn titan so it has to grow before its the size of a full blown planet destroyer
it also makes sense why its called the unmaker..it unmade argus...destroyed it
I thought aggramar was killed before the Sargeras fought with the other titans. And i thought Eonar was the last titan spirit left not captured by sargeras, so i'm a bit confused why Eonar is there.

The raid is called throne of the legion, is it confirmed that argus is actually the endboss or have they maybe omitted the real last boss? Since raiding an empty throne would be a bit dissapointing, eventhought he bosses do sound amazing. is it even confirmed the last raid on a second not e:D

By looking at Argus from Azeroth there is a big hole going into Argus core, that could very well be the hole that Argus came out from so maybe that soul has already woken up

And well - Agrammar was consumed and killed by sargeras before Norgannon used his spell, and its entirely possible we will just be Escorting Freya to Eonar and allowing the Titan to be made whole again after remainder has been tortured for millenia...
then well... we could go to hunt for where legion hid the other ones... we have the keepers to do it... even with Loken and those lost in Halls of Origination... there should still be plenty to house most of titan power

I'm genuinely curious as to how this is gonna make sense in terms of Sargeras's plan. so in order to prevent a Titan from being corrupted by the void lords he is gonna corrupt them himself
So far sargeras has been the biggest idiot in wow i mean where even is he the only reason he hasn't sliced up our planet is that we were supposedly too far away form argus but now we are right under his nose and he is nowhere to be seen like wtf?

If Azeroth truly has a world soul, I feel like she will be the one to fight Sargeras. It just makes sense to me.
The titans found something special in Azeroth, and so did the Void Lords- so much so the Titans and the Old Gods fought over it for centuries. Perhaps over time, Azeroth's world soul has been slowly maturing. When we obliterate Argus, Sargeras will probably have enough of our bullshit and come to destroy us. Of course, how could we fight him? He cleaved worlds in two! The only fair fight that would make sense is if Azeroth herself fought Sargeras alongside her heroes.

2 things that would make this patch realy bad for me
1. if the shackled ur'zul becomes the raids mount i will be dissapointed but its not too far off sadly since it has 3 color variants...
2. if blizzard doesnt make a hell hound mount ... i mean going back to the first point if we can get 3 color variants of a gryphon model in fleshy pink with 5 oddly awfully pleasured eredar faces melted onto it ontop of an extra mouth but we cant get a single color variant of the god damn best demon model ive ever seen then i dont know what to do

After Argus I think it's great to see if we fight Queen Azshara and N'Zoth next (With the Old Gods)...Still too with that new Broken model, do you think the Illidari Broken and Akama will be updated too? Really want to see the guy go back to his old homeworld and fight the Legion. I know he is on Outland if you pick Kayn, then the other he is with you.
Legion ain't disappointing either...Really enjoying it so far. Just leveling my chars.
I just level, and dungeons now, but I am doing older raids than the new ones...Just was too boring for me.
Still too Argus is going to be something interesting...Can we finally stop the Burning Legion? Will Azeroth suffer from a planet being close to it?

Really hope too that Legion will have a aftermath patch in which we finally get free of Legion, then the next pre-patch for the next expansion comes out.

I kinda had a prediction... About the titans.. What hapened to their body.. Though my prediction was that somehow.. The Titan bodies got to Azeroth.. and they got Corrupted by the Old gods. Eonar, the Lifebinder... Oposite of life.. Death.. Yog sarron.. The God of Death...Same thing with the other titans.. Btw.. Eonar has a model on the ptr.
