- Having visited all cities in England, I've put together a regional guide, ranking each and every one by house price from low to high. Here we take a look at the Midlands, combining the regions of East Midlands and West Midlands together. The information presented comes from rightmove.co.uk and its data pertaining to sold property prices within the last 12 months, so bear in mind this is time-sensitive, but correct as of June 2024.

2:24 Fun Fact: The composer Edward Elgar was a Wolverhampton Wanderers fan, and he even 'composed' a ditty which became popular as an early football chant.
As always a terrific sojourn Alex
Thank you Alex, very cool! A bit closer to home this vid. 🙂
Ah nice, thanks for watching!
Great video Alex, and not a mention of Peaky Blinders to be heard.
Yeah, I spared you my dubious Brummie accent attempt!
Nice work as usual Alex,👍
Cheers!
Thanks!
Thanks Dianne, much appreciated! :)
I love this series. Someone had to do it. I just regret that I didn't think of it myself... but you do it better than I could have done, so it's just as well I didn't. 😁
That's kind of you to say. Friendly competition's always welcome though!
Thanks for putting the 'pseudo Northereners' Nottingham squarely in their place, the midlands. They even have these pathetic little bread rolls they call 'cobs', whereas we have proper ones called 'barm cakes'. That distinction alone is an absolute deal breaker.
Whato,
We never claim ourselves as Northerners and you've obviously never had a cob. Anyway, I thought the term "barn cake" had something to do with lunacy.
