    Really special athlete... and you can tell he spent years practicing with Kyrie Irving and Jayson Tatum (and of course the great IT4). He came in raw and really did an absolutely fantastic job of learning from the people around him.
    He's already a great player, but it's impossible to tell how much better he can become. Skilled players with his frame, athletic ability and work ethic have no ceiling.
    Jaylen Brown can take the Celtics to another level with his mind. I think he has all the tools to be an incredible leader on and off the court. I really would love to see him manipulate the game more on offense. He went through a period where his problem was that he was overthinking the game and couldn't get outside of his own head. I can't wait to see what happens when he masters that part of himself and allows his mind to run at its highest level with control on the court.
    Funny thing is, I could have said the same exact things about Jayson Tatum (except him being raw). Playing against Tatum and Brown when they're both at the pinnacle of their game will be practically unfair. They both showed the NBA a taste of that after the second half of last season, but the best is yet to come. Buckle up, Celtics fans.

    I love JB but everyone trying to say he's better than JT are insane. Yeah he played better in the finals but tatum had just as many rebounds and more assists. He only average 2 more points per game as the second option while Tatum almost faced a triple team every time as the first . JB is underrated and IMO definitely in the 10-15 player range across the league but he is not better than JT.

    • @nuro365

      @@nuro365 of course he's more efficient he's the second option playing in the space JT creates, and "heart" is so laughable. JT is the reason they didn't get eliminated in 6 against the bucks and put in the daggers of game 7 of the ECF. JT will learn and get better. Love JB but your argument is invalid.

    I hope JBs tenacious defensive skill and explosiveness will reach him a the next gen best two-way player in the league.
    However, he lacks handling ability and causes unnecessary turnovers.
    Since the Celts management doesn’t value him enough (making him a KD asset), I'm always a fan of players who play locally, so what about the Hawks? Collins/Hunter/1st round pickJB would do the trick?

    • @zoomzoom3839
      @zoomzoom3839 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most Celtics fans including myself didn’t want that trade to happen, the trade would be to high risk, KD is 34 years old, injury prone, he also has a extremely unpredictable demeanor, KD has a great way about him when things are going well, but as soon as something doesn’t go well or there’s any sort of bump in the road, you never know how he’s going to react, like how he stuck it out in OKC for his contract, but he would eventually leave the moment he got the chance. Then in GSW he left cause of a fallout with media, now in Brooklyn he is fed up just simply because he hasn’t been happy with the teams performance. Who knows what could happen with KD he could just want out again after 2 years. He’s too unpredictable.

    Where is the plays where he steals the ball, gives it to Tatum, Tatum turns it over, and JB hustles back for the block (did he score off an Al assist too)? I think it was in the playoffs when Tatum hurt his shoulder vs. Miami. One of, if not, the best sequences of his career.
