Cameron, this might sound silly, bring a bread to sea when you pull your nets and it will attract the fish. I do it every time I go fishing and it works. Just throw it all over the water cost your bread on the sea on your fish will multiply.
Zorro, that look like a Tiger Prawn. If it is, it could be bad news for your fishing ground as they prey on native shrimp and is suspected to carry diseases which our fisheries have no immunity to. Perhaps you should report your findings to the Fisheries Department. God Bless.
