- The dominating faction for a long time, the True Sons were responsible for the desertion of a large part of the JTF, the creation of the Outcasts, actively caused the forming of the Hyena Council and wiped the Castle Settlement from existence. Let’s take a look at how they managed this.

Jaime M in the extremis malis comic made by Ubisoft it shows nyc after the division 1. Faye laus leg is good and in lower Manhattan specifically Chinatown the division storms a complex where the lmb is supposedly being supported by a secret contractor which we later find out is the black tusk. My favorite faction in the game. Far less frustrating to fight because they use basic conventional tactics. They look cool and their lore is interesting. Best stronghold mission too.

After the death of ridgeway and the wipeout of the Capitol building, I doubt that the True Sons will have a future bigger than the Division, JTF, or Civilian mercenaries. Just like LMB, they've scattered in little groups but still resist forfeit.

@@MastermindsHD I mean the LMB still had some fight left in them after Bliss got killed. I'd expect a couple of attempts atleast of the True Sons trying to fight back. A major strike at a held Stronghold held by Civilian and Division forces, attempts to strike at settlements in revenge for Ridgeway. Etc. Just I wish there was more comms and story with how the factions besides Black Tusk. I wanna hear and know how the factions are physically and mentally taking their fall from grace at the hands of the Division and Militia forces. They may not have the tech or training of Black Tusk forces, but as the saying goes a cornered animal especially wounded is very dangerous. Either desperation, fervor, or senseless bravado or recklessness will take over.

Question: there is a future for them. A very short one. I believe that basically the same will happen with them that happened with the lmb after bliss death
Their story might already be over. I hope the title updates and raids will introduce a lot more lore into the game, instead of just another gameplay experience.
I'm hoping for a bit more out of them. Besides the Black Tusks they are the 2nd strongest enemy faction left, they can probably go as long as the LMB under certain leadership but after that ita hopeless. Shame I would have enjoyed some more lore covering the fall of the True Sons like in the previous game.

That's one of the best compliments I've heard
i highly doubt Richway ability to lead his men. There was absolutely no need to eradicate the Castle settlement. Richway said they were at war with Hyne and Outcast and yet they decided to lauch their most powerful mass destruction weapon onto a nearly defenseless faction. Also when the negotiator offer a treaty from the Castle with benefit for long-term to both side, he decided to screw it. Not only that, "Don't shoot the messenger", an old secret rule of war and they violate it as well as well.

Ridgeway was a dictator basically. It was his way or death. But, ruling through fear always gets you killed in the end.
Basically what the guy said, Ridgeway was a dictator. You were either with him or in his was and it didn't matter if it took a chemical attack to be rid of you. A good leader wouldn't have taxed settlements so heavily, allow things to get out of hand, understand that your men step onto the battlefield and won't always make it back regardless of what you do. Hes the cause of both the Hyenas and Outcasts, the death of many innocent people, therefore only one optioned remained in dealing with him. Cut the head off the snake and the body will wither. There was no way it could have ended with him still being alive and he should have realized the Division would have been his end.
In the video footage I never got why that guy keeps trying to crawl out of the hole even though he is being shot in the back he still try's to get out. Also great video, and have you done to raid yet, if so how far are you in it?
It was a fight-or-flight response, I suppose. If you were getting shot at, wouldn't you at least attempt to get away?

And then the Division regained its strength in D.C and pushed back everyone including the True Sons. Storming the Capitol Building, secured the brief case, and killed Ridgeway cutting the head off the True Sons who grew weaker each day. Like the LMB, they will never be the same. Would have enjoyed more comms, lore and such to hear how Ridgeway and the True Sons were coping with losing control to the Division. I would have expected as the True Sobs lost control settlements starting rebelling seeing the True Sons were losing control, supplies and manpower were strained to cope, and Ridgeway was furious at this. Guessing negotiating wouldn't have been a bad idea Ridgeway.
For some reason, although it was the best part, they decided not to focus on the story.
@@MastermindsHD Yep, the True Sons were the strongest faction and arguably the one that were the significant threat with the use of chemical warfare. Yeah Outcasts have zealots with biological warfare but that can be countered, Hyenas have military grade hardware from Black Tusks but compare those two to chemical warfare that castle didn't expect and only left 7 survivors, they also have a lot of military trained men that gives them a bit of a edge over the others, and were the only ones directly attacking the Division in their propaganda broadcasts convincing them to join them or turning people against them. Instead all we are getting are Black Tusk missions, which aren't bad but the other factions aren't out of the fight yet. The LMB, Cleaners, Rikers and Rioters still had some fight left in them for a while despite all the setbacks why would the D.C factions be any different.

Really? I always thought, at least lore-wise, True Sons, Hyenas and Outcasts were city-based factions (which they essentially are), where the Black Tusk are set up cross-country. With that in mind and the fact that we already defeated the True Sons, Hyenas and Outcasts, it makes more sense to fight Black Tusk or new factions.
