I received mine today and paired them with a Nicehck cable as well as Comply tips and am satisfied, mainly because I view this as a "banger" unit which I've paired with the equally inexpensive Hiby DAP M300. To me at least, this is like pairing drinks with dinner. The cheaper the food, the cheaper the wine. I agree about the term "flagship" needing to be used sparingly, but for an on the go set... these are stress free to carry around.
I've gotten over Kz I had the 10 pro x I didn't know there was a 12 Pro X. You could be thinking of the 10 Pro 2. But my 10 Pro X broke down pretty quick. The only set of KZ that I have that are still running well who is no issues or breakage. Is the HBB PR2
I love TRN VX Pro original, in fact I have 2 of them, each with different cables and different tonality. About TRN VX Pro+, I get it, it's the less sparkly VX Pro. Thanks. Now, here's the problem with older TRN models. Only 1 reviewer, Akros, reviewed it right. Why? - older TRN IEMs require burn-in, VX Pro was one that required around 50 hours to produce it's optimal sound. - VX Pro has studio sound IEM, which means you won't find any boosted bass. Despite the shallow V-shaped eq, it has clear mids. - at least with og VX Pro, the cable was, IMHO, bad. I use 2 replacement cables: TRN T3 Pro to make VX Pro becoming more neutral sounding AND TRN Redchain to make VX Pro a more balance sound with boosted mid bass and W-shaped eq. In short, VX Pro was rhe most versatile TRN's IEM. It's truly adjustable to my taste. Seeing the comparison of eq chart, I know I don't want to upgrade it.
Do you have a link to that impedance adapter? I can't find it and it looks sick Also, the term "flagship" is simply a language thing. They aren't deliberately misusing it, the word just doesn't translate well in Chinese, which is why you see that word everywhere in China. Same reason they use the word "dear" in communication all the time. It's just translational, not them being patronizing.
Ive had the opposite experience. Only had one problem out of the many I purchased. The qdc port was chipping/breaking on an ultra budget CS2. They helped me right away and sent me a new one. This was a couple years ago, haven't had any issues since.
I ordered this in the first hour of release. And because I'm not a TH-camr. They only just sent mine. Wait waiting for over a month. But when I ordered from moondrop when the Chu 2 first come out same thing within hours with its release. Who got from China to Australia in 3 days. It's taking trn for 3 x the price of the Moon drops over a month to ship. And it's been in transit for 4 days but now because I assume some labelling issue it's been stuck in Australian customs. Normally stuff I order go straight through.
@@someoneusaa year ago I had an earphone with raging driver flex and they sent me a new earphone replacement (I only paid for shipping). But this year, they denied sending me a replacement for a manufacturer flawed part of a different product, even though I offered to pay for shipping again. This brand is dead to me. My money go to Kefine and other new players now.
Disagree, my experience has been exceptional. In both regards with multiple contacts to customer service and with quote a few of their iems. They do resort take feedback
Hi TDM. True Be drivers need atleast 500 hours of firm burn-in. My friend owns A8000 and they did not make any music before that. Very confusing to hear them prematurely. Makes any review invalid that did not handle them as such. And that's most of them i fear. Just a hint. ❤
@@hinx6 a lot of reviewers would be disagree with you including at this channel. But you probably going to say, such changes aren't detectable by Frequency Response (therefore it is placebo effect).
I truly enjoy the TRN ST5 hybrid. CNC ceramic coated shells, precision-milled from aerospace-grade magnesium alloy. Beryllium-coated 10mm driver, two 30095 tweeters + two 50060 mid-range balanced armature drivers.

Very light as well!
The TRN Conch is worth it for the accessories alone.
Yeah still relevant IEM worth it for the cable!
4:59 Even campfire audio was accused of using belsing drivers once.
I ordered that adapter
Thanks for the suggestion
Nice review, Monk. I ended up getting the KZ ZS12 Pro X over this set.
Did you receive it yet? The only reviews I see are in Japanese.
Good choice!

@@Mystninja my pr2's are still fantastic, gets better with age
I am always paranoid about berillium drivers, the stuff is so toxic, breathe in only one particle, and it can scar your lungs, or even kill you..
😀 Or worse
Last I tried one from TRN, it was sharp and peaky. I don't remember the model name.
try out the TRN Orca.
@@woophieink6528 oooh same deal.. Conch is much better
Sibilance and ba timbre are two big no's for me 😢

It's in the video description with the link. Cheers Thanks for watching
@tonedeafmonk ah, watching it on my phone, missed it. Ordered. Thanks!
@colinmartin9797 Cool it works really well and is quite accurate
So the NF AUDIO RA15 is better on just audio qualities ? considering it must be the same tuning..
I think they sound very different single DD vs hybrid with cheap BA , the NF has a much more natural sounding tambre IMO
How did you get yours so fast. I ordered mine the very minute they come out. Anna been sitting in Australian customs for the last few days
Mine showed up in 5 days from China was some kind of record!
Skip
Again too much treble? 😮😢😅
Too much cheap treble
Warning! TRN has poor QC and terrible customer support. They are not standing behind their products.
